Do people think Wiggins was a disappointment in Minnesota? By the numbers, he was consistent and durable. Now that he’s on a winning team and committed to playing defense, he’s found his role. Still only 27.

Yeah I can’t front Wiggins been solid. His offensive rebounding is underrated as well. He’s always competing for the ball off the glass.

I just want to say he didn’t rebound with us as much as we wanted him to, the problem is it’s not like he’s put a ton of muscle on, he’s Just Do It now cause he’s older ;((((

You could say the same thing about game 4 tho, team was asleep at the wheel and steph hit em with 43 points and 10 rebounds and put that **** on his back
that's why it's so hard to beat the warriors tho. they have starters and a bench that can carry a game at any given moment, in most sports its about defense and depth if you wanna go far and win championships

With the Warriors sorely needing some beef, muscle, and rebounding in the paint during the Finals, Wiggins has stepped up Big Time, playing like a real big.
He has averaged 9.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in the series, doing things power forwards and centers are supposed to do.

He was the most heralded recruit in the world in the post-Lebron era. Not living up to that kind of hype was going to be spoken about even if he went #2.
His trajectory was pretty normal from years 1-3 but when they bought Jimmy in he started backtracking.

In Minny Wiggins scored but didn’t play defense or rebound as projected…Plus he wasn’t a passer so couldn’t make plays for anybody else …Add all of that to the losing and his rep for not having heart/caring, definitely can see why yo could be viewed as a disappointing #1 pick
Now he’s playing well as a high level role player on another contending team , great for him but more was expected
