Well, you and I know the correct key when it comes to writing about things that come up JUST short in Minnesota sports, there's been practice. I don't know if turning 29 this December and entering his 30s going forward will help him not use his body like a battering ram.
But that also will cause a decline in his outfield defense if he doesn't have that gear.
And not knowing when his injury this time 'exactly' happened, playing through the hip injury for a long time, we don't know when it started you know... our guess has to be an outfield defensive play that he played through. So him being healthier as he takes less chances lessens his defensive impact as we move forward. It's a hollow feeling.
