The hype was back to sneakerheads with those canary diamond shenanigans at complexcon imo. Ever since then it has been strategically widening the audience. TS or someone like him was the next logical step. Get an influencer to expose a new generation to the "classics" they weren't really around to experience, followed by a blast of classic retro packs and strong collabs.

Honestly those don’t even bother anymore. What really chaps my *** now are the “I’m just here to take my L” posts. But maybe even worse than that are the “quick pic before I send them off to StockX” posts.

Yeah, man. I haven’t gotten to that point yet. But I understand the sentiment. Luckily I have a wide variety of sneakers that I like, that I have been pretty “lucky” lately to obtain. While dunks are my first love, I do feel bad for the OGs like you and others on here who Really loves dunks. But his too shall pass. My only hope is that dudes just stop paying resale. Let these rats starve.
I agree. I mean I have paid resale but it took a while for me to actually accept the fact that I was never going to get things at retail anymore. My local stoped selling Sb's years ago. Closest shops to me are Philly. And that ain't happening anymore. 15 years of collecting, lots of money spent. I feel like forrest gump at this point.
