Aight I'll chime in

1) This was the actual reason why i pretty much quit for a while. Back in the silver box days there was a store that i usually picked up sb's from. Guess the owner caught on to the hype and was just straight up selling his whole stock to resellers. I remember being in the store asking about an upcoming qs release and they saying "no we aren't getting them." I peep behind the counter and see the whole shipment there i took a break after that.

2) Agree with the pigeons! Never understood the hype for that shoe. Such a simple color-way and i didn't feel like wearing a pigeon w/ s#it. I think it was the timing of the release. Wasn't it when the power went out in NY and a riot occurred???

That's the crazy thing cuz I bought the amps when they released since I'd already missed the dooms. By the time I finally obtained a DS pair I found them kinda boring. Like they were really jus another black and grey shoe. Even with red laces they were boring. Ppl put them on such a pedastool but IMO they aren't all that.

As for that kid jus know that I see him cuz he needs help but I swear this weekend he really jus needed a reality check. I had already been making my exodus from sneaks jus cuz I'm getting older and honestly only wear them to my part time job which is pointless, this kid made me realize things really are outta control. Nike has so many kids brainwashed

1. It happened when a friend of mine asked me, " If you could go back to the day you started collecting, what would you say to yourself? Question #1: What is the one moment where you were SO disgusted or discouraged with the "sneaker game" that it made you think about leaving the game totally and never looking back?

Question #2: In your eyes, what is the ONE (or top 3) most overrated Nike SB to have ever been released?

1- The Galaxy Foam chaos. SMMFH.

Fastest way to ruin a good shoe. The font in "Brooklyn" is mis-aligned and "Projects" is way off center pushed too far left.

I recall ppl bashing this on Twitter/IG and BP defending themselves with "well then dont buy it." - Not a problem. Hideous.

1. Concord 11's....Anytime when the news does a segment on the shoe and ignorance in people are displayed...

1.) Pigeon SB... The amount of chaos of that release was unreal.
2.) Supreme Dunks....The label alone is pretty hyped so naturally the hype for the shoe was going to happen.
3.) Tiffany Dunks...This shoe i felt created the hypebeast... If not heavily contributed to it.

Most overated top 3? Great question actually. People will shake their head and hate me for saying this but the most overrated (in my view) are Reese Forbes. While I fully agree the quality and exclusivity is there, I am always at a loss to see how desperate people are for these and how much they are willing to pay $1,000-$2,000. WTD I feel are in the same category. It's a cute mixup, but in the end they are crazy and unwearable lol (Gold box was the worst series for SB). Finally the recent Supreme dunks were ehh. The color is not right and there is nothing special or unique about them otherwise them trying to recapitalize on their past releases with Nike SB.

1. when grown men started acting like kids over shoes , people getting stabbed/ jumped over a pair of kicks, not understanding that they are just SHOES and it's not that serious to take someone's life over. And the entire set up with how releases are done these days just drives me crazy, I know most of you are like me working 40+ hours a week, we don't have time to camp(not about that life)or hit up 5 FTL and FNL all over our city getting raffle tickets for the chance to pick up a shoe we want. if I want to play a game like that I will go to the casino or play lotto. It's like they are turning something fun into something it's not suppose to be. We work hard and if we have some extra money we like to treat our self to a nice pair of new kicks. Gone are the good old days I guess.

BP is garbage. Apparently they are getting trashed on nsb.org and I'm glad. They screwed me over on the levi hyperstrikes. One guy said they would ship to the US and told me to call back the next day.  When I called they said they only shipped in Canada, so when I told them I had a relative in Canada they could ship to, the guy said oh actually we dont ship at all. 

This is the same company that charged $125 for concords because "they paid extra to have them rush delivered so people could get them a week early" but then they canceled their early release.

People are exposing them for what they are and they deserve every bit of negative feedback. I'm glad their version came out ugly.

Great discussion here fellas. 00' always comin through steering the ship in the right direction.

The concord and galaxy releases were certainly butt ugly just all around. To this day I still can't understand the hype around those foams, or foams in general. Looks like an alien and predator had a baby, then that baby took a dump. The dump fossilized and Nike make a shoe out of it.

Just my opinion though..
