I got hip to that while I was in school in NC and people from LV were telling me they were trying to get as far away from home as possible.

Try watching Cops.  I've seen a couple episodes recently that were in Vegas.  Crazy !@#$ is going down there all the time, so I wasn't surprised to see it on that list.
