Every other week my employees have a 4-day work week every. They call it a “9/80”
Week 1: 9 hours on Mon-Thu then 8 hours on Friday
Week 2: 9 hours on Mon-Thu then off on Friday (assuming there isn’t work to be done)

It doesn’t really apply to me though because I work more hours and almost always work that second Friday. I also usually will put in an hour or two on Sunday evening too to make sure I have my affairs in order for the upcoming week so I can hit the ground running on Monday morning or if I have to travel for the week then I have to do the whole airport routine on Sundays. Fortunately, I’ve become a master packer and have TSA Pre-check so the whole process is actually pretty quick once I arrive at the airport.
