After seeing the 1s for the first time in person, think I'll have to grab a pair. The cracked leather is a nice touch. Midsoles isn't overly aged on the pair I seen in person either.

Does anyone have any advice on waterproofing and/or cleaning cracked leather?

I worry about pieces of it falling off over time.

Do you have to approach it any differently than other types of material?

Just wear your shoes and don't worry about it.

If you're worried about pieces falling off then might as well wear a bag over them so you can catch them all and reapply after each wear

I just hit mine with the Champs ultra protector and wore em. The way this leather is, it's gonna flake off no matter what.

Due to the material, not sure how well it will hold up. First pic shows a cleaned shoe over a dirty one. The second pic has a DS pair Vs the first pic.

They're AJ1s, nothing special about them comfort wise. Feel like any other regular AJ1.
These aren't the upgraded AJ1 Zoom Comforts.
