I liked the album a lot, probably my favorite of the year.  I've been listening to Ab-Soul since the Long Term mixtape and it's interesting to see a clear progression in his ability and subject matter.  I thought Long Term Mentality was kind of self-centered, not necessarily in a bad way, but Control System has expanded its scope.  I do see a lot of Section 80 in it in terms of some of the conceptual songs and their role.

I didn't take DMT .. but something similar ..

The end of the track bugged me out cuz I heard what Ab was recreating when I was on my hallucinogenic trip

This has been ALL I been listening too the past 3 days.
Did not expect to rock with dude like this, but its too dope.
I cant honor the opinion of it even being SLIGHTLY better than
S80, at least not yet. If they replace Jay Rock wit someone on
Their level they could really do damage on some new age NWA iish.

Jay Rock is actually kind of the leader out of the crew. Doubt he'd ever be replaced.

Don't forget Rock was the first one of them dudes to actually "get on".

I think that the reason I haven't jumped to listen to this so quickly is because I just didn't like his features all that much. 'Druggys With %*@% Again' I didn't like overall, 'P&P 1.5' I didn't like all that much, didn't like the Outro on Section 80, but his verse on 'Say Wassup' was cool to me.
