i don't care if people resell, because i'm not buying resale unless its an old shoe for at or slightly above (like +20% at most) of retail.
No one should die. i just think that the guys who are flipping a quarter to half of some peoples salaries in shoes, could be making some nice money other ways. It wouldn't be instant gratification, but would be a great come up for them
But thats their choice, i'm gonna like or want another pair of shoes or clothes less than a week from now more than i want these.

I agree it isn't the best example. I'm just trying to use an example of something that can be flipped for immense profits (Yzy purchased at $220 that can be sold for $1k+ = 400%+ profit in 1 day) by people using backdoor connections / existing wealth.
I'm not all about socialism or anything, and I really don't care about people reselling - especially when they have tons of buyers willing to spend that much. I just don't like the fact that people that actually want the shoes to wear, cannot get them because they're all snatched up by backdoor deals / bots / etc.
It is what it is, though. If I don't get them for retail (goes for any pair), I'm just not interested in getting them.

Every blue moon, Nike and Jordan Brand release a hyped retro like the OG WC4s and Bred 1s this year (along with Space Jams and Black Toe 1s releasing soon)... Adidas has wisely controlled supply pretty tightly for it's hyped sneakers so you rarely see them sitting. I'm not sure how many units they are pushing but Jordan Brand is definitely pushing more retros, especially the garbage ones (basically every retro+ cw) that end up selling in Nike outlet stores.
