Finally got a pair after all this time... A pair from Finishline also just showed up at my house that I don't plan on keeping... Had the black/red and white cements back in '89, and these are no comparison.

I'd say the quality varies, one person might have a perfect pair while another with flaws.

Out of the eight pairs I've had inhand, two were in perfect condition out of the box.

Four of them had some kind of imperfection on the upper IE scuff marks, warped uppers and what not.

Two had major paint blobs/drippage on the midsoles.

You hust have sort through damaged pairs, I am very satisfied with the pairs that were flawless out of the box.

Those are QUALITY CONTROL issues.  Unfortunately that's always going to be a problem.

Sorry about what happened ColdCity, that's crazy.  I think it may be time for me to get a storage unit.  At the end of the day it is material ish though, I know that's not of much comfort now.  Hopefully you had some kind of theft insurance.
