The season Mike wore carmines was the season that he was at his very best. He had every area checked.

Many will say 96 as him being at his all time best, but if you were around in 93, or even if you go back and look at the tape...93 bruh was on a different planet.

Edit: seeing how those 6's retros, albeit not perfect, are better on every aspect than a lot of past products, you could assume that JB will at least get the shape right on the raptors (sorry 3god ).

Possibly because the emergence of the Knicks and Suns. Think it was the only squad that didn’t hit 60 wins. He had to remind folks, Bulls were still the apex predators.

Similar feeling to some of you in here... I really didn't care for these back in the day. Black/Infrared 6's were the holiest of holies to me back in 91, and I just didn't give a crap about these at the time.

This shoe was pretty loud at the time during that era. I remember commentators commenting on them a few times due to them being mostly Carmine read.

91-92 Jordan was def out of this worlds. They were in pace to win 70+ games (67-15).

Agreed but the shoe should’ve been a black/gold version of infrareds with NA, simple as that. That little baby 23 really serves no purpose. It’s not like it was from some og sample or something like that.

Definitely should’ve had NA. I would prefer the NA to be gold for contrast with the black. That’s one of the reasons I really liked the Carmines back in the day. That awesome NA logo POPPED

I have 6 pairs (don’t ask I know it’s illogical... I have a problem) of the 2019 infrareds now and the only thing I want to change is painting the NA infrared. That will be a little customization I will do to all OG 6s except the Carmines. That’s not the only custom I want to do with the infrareds/FOG...
