He completed the Fire Reds and he really executed them nicely.

Damn, the tongue “curtain” as I call it (the backside of the tongue color that shows on the front of the retro tongue) sucks so bad, how dude tucked the front up over that is such a small thing and yet huge amongst the million other details

The 2007 Fire Red III's were one of the BEST III's ever. Shape and quality was A1-not sure about paint chip though. I'm mad I let them go.

I forgot how easily these crease. Maybe I should’ve kept my second pair. ohh, well... i haven’t rocked them yet, but damn... the height of the elephant still bugs me. Not sure if I should sell them and cop another pair or not. Who else has this issue?

Is your pair TTS? My pair shows no creasing with multiple wears. My true blues started to crease after two brief wears

I never size up/down with any Nike, or Jordan brand. I always get my true size from Jordan’s 1-14.

I still have my 07s. I refuse to get rid of them because I love the shape. All I need is to find someone around Boston to repaint the midsole and get a tab swap.

Oh man. I hate when a shoe is otherwise is in great shape but the midsole cracking makes it look like crap. I miss the OG days of non-painted midsoles that just turned yellow with age; at least the white portion that is. The painted portion never cracked, but just got scuffed. Oh well, at least most of the current models don't crack easily. My laser 4s are the only recent ones that are cracking.

Yup but we’ve also seen them go back on several things that dip**** said back then. He also said Nike Air was “never” coming back.

Most little changes on most of the models, I don’t care that much. Threes are just different. It’s one shoe I won’t buy in its present guise because all the changes make it a shoe that no longer makes me happy. Obviously you and others are happy with it, and that’s cool. I wish I could feel the same, believe me.

It's all good, usually ol' tonytobacco agree on our opinions about the retros that are good or not so good. Like I said, this one was good, just didn't blow me away, and all-black 5s don't look right on me, at least not to me.

Yeah if you wear them a lot the paint doesn’t hold up. My pair are beaters now but I still love them.

Wore this same pair back in March to the Great Pyramids of Egypt, I'm happy to report that they also held up for Machu Picchu, Peru.

I wish my 2001 pair would've held up for the 3 other world wonders I've done. But anyway 2 more left, you bet i'll have these on also.

Very good, no chipping at all yet. I used them all day while walking 8+ hours in them for a week.
