I need a 2nd pair. Worn my pair like 10 times and they’re squeaking when I walk.

That sucks. Did you try baby powder? If that doesn't work, personally, I'd be less inclined to want another pair as it would likely happen again eventually. That said, I've worn mine since release probably 50 times and they're still like new; no issues.

Anyone else have their white midsole crack? My true blues haven't cracked, but these are starting to on my right shoe. Kinda pissed about it because I thought they would've fixed the issue. My 2011 are far worse.

That's odd. I've worn my pair A LOT since release, and in the last month or two alone I've probably worn them well over 30 times. They've been my daily's a majority of my winter semester and living in Michigan it means they've been through snowstorms, rock salt, mud, etc and they're holding up just fine. Not a crack or chip in sight.

Do not I repeat do not use baby powder. It makes a mess and more often then not comes back/sometimes even worse. Where is it squeaking? I know this sounds weird but use WD40 spray. I have 3 pairs I wear and rotate through. One started squeaking something fierce. I spraying under the insole right where the little hole is for the air bag. Let it dry and you’ll never have the issue again. Just spray a tiny amount, dry without the insole in. I’ve used this on 3/4/5/11s and it never ever came back....guarantee fix.

Same. My 1 pair I’ve worn probably 200 times and no crack in sight at all.

Sold my pair to fund a red cement conversion, couldn’t stand seeing these side by sides.

Looks fantastic buddy!! Got a question for you. Who did your swap, and which outsole did you use (from what donor)? Does it have Nike on the bottom or Jordan? I have a pair of '01, they are quite possibly, one of my favorite pairs of shoes I own but stopped wearing them as they are coming up on 20 years old. But the leather is great. Those midsoles scare me though. Would love to take it somewhere to have someone swap them for me. Thanks for the info. 👍

Thanks man! I sent them to aceves restorations in Stockton California. I used a brand new legacy 312 midsole. Unfortunately it has Jordan on the bottom. He did a great job I recommend checking him out.

Thanks for the tip on the resto. I looked at his site and IG. He does great work. Did he restitch the sole to the toebox like factory? I may have to send him a message and start looking for a donor shoe.

Excellent. Gonna hit him up with some questions. Last question if I may. Did you get the same size on the 312s as your Retro 3? I know some shoes the foot size may be the same but the overall length is different. Just curious if I should get an 11 in the 312s. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Much appreciated. 👍

Yep. The 2001 is 11.5 and I got a 11.5 312. Fits perfect.

Naww that’s thick as hell!! Sold mine and don’t regret it one sec.. these things look like mug guards on boots!
 I tried to sift through like 4 pairs since 2018, these were prolly the best I found. The other elephant prints, man, I didn't even wanna double up. Much thicker on my other 3 pairs I sold. The ones came out last month are pretty damn nice. When Nike makes those types of IIIs, they really know how to properly fix em.

Also its angles of the ep on the 2018.

I look back at some these "remastered" IIIs and IVs and I'm like these could be better. Those 2020 varsity red black cements made me think damn, these would look good black and with the 5 holes colored red.

I end up selling if I really don't feel like I want to rock em.

Only remastered IIIs I bought that I liked other than black cements are the Katrinas and 2016 true blue. Lots of people didn't like the 2016 TB, but my pair was sort of nice.

Can I get a quick LC?

Was gonna wear my pair for some errands (haven't worn them in months) but my pair squeaks hella loud, more than I remember them doing so. Kinda hard to pinpoint what part squeaks.
