Someone on reddit actually customized these into Black Cements and I must say they are . Can't believe JB adjusted the shape of the 3's AFTER the True Blue and Black Cement release.

You can’t believe JB would do this? This is actually EXACTLY what we should expect from JB....

They held the NIKE AIR card for a looong time. They balked on the “remastered” BS. I would be more shocked to get correct shape with NA and original colorways on the same sneaker than this.

Those customs are on point.

I think it’s called “unite” campaign and celebrating MJ 1988 dunk contest when Chicago hosted the all-star game.

I don’t think nothing to do with united center as it opened mid 90’s.

I stand corrected. Originally I thought they just changed the dimensions of the EP cut on the toe. Didn’t realize they apparently recut the dimensions of the entire shoe. The EP is still off in terms of color and pattern application, but I’d likely buy IIIs again in this version in OG colors. As has been said, it’s a crime they didn’t revamp them like this for the black/cements. I have to believe that doing it now, more are on the way soon. OG fire reds will be nice with this iteration. I’d love to see these side by side with a pair of OGs to see how the overall shape and dimensions compare.

Sucks to look at the elephant print on my True blue 3 and black cement after seeing the red pair.

Sucks we gotta wait for JB to give us a good black cement 3 like those. But that could mean white cement 3 could haha that shape. The ‘88 pair came out in 2013?

Hopefully, in a soon they give us those again.
