Air Jordan III Retro - Varsity Red/Cement Grey/Black-Varsity Red (All Star 2020)

Don't listen to the "they're more roomy because of the padding" people. I was worried too, but it's typical NT sizing talk. Bought my normal size, wore them yesterday and they fit like every 3 I've bought for the last 4 or 5 years.

I got screwed back in '01 with the black cements listening to NT. Had me thinking I should go half size down lol. Vowed NEVER again. When you say "typical", you're absolutely right.

Yea, I usually don't pay attention to the size talk unless someone mentions both my same size & foot structure. Goin a half size down is alot different for narrow feet than wide feet. And a half size down from a 12 is alot different from a 9. Just going with a wide spectrum of thin to thick socks works for me.

After seeing pics with white laces, when I rock these, them black laces are coming right out. White laces are the move.
Couldn’t agree more. White laces in these are lethal.

Yep, I got swayed ONCE on those Python retros a few years ago. People swearing up and down they ran a full size big, so I went a half size down. Luckily I had second thoughts and ordered my true size a few minutes later. Both pairs got here and the half down was way too small. Never again.

There's one dude on here that swears NT'ers just don't know what size they truly wear and I'm starting to agree with him.

I don't what it is with this young generation. Why worry about a shoe saleing out so if it don't do that make the shoe unpopular for you to purchase dont worry about what people think as long as you like them buy them . I remember freshman year in high school 93 when the playoff 8s came out they didn't sellout right away but i still got them and i got the playoff 7s that was still on the shelf from the season before for 79.99 not that that shoe was not popular it was around that time in the 90s you alot of popular athletes the have their owe shoe and alot people was not just on one athletes shoe

Hey buddy, it's tough to compare frommback then (in '93, I was a sophomore in high school and I too had VIIIs in Playoff colorway, as well as Infrared 6s in 8th and Charcoal 7s in 9th. There was nothing back then in regards to social media. My Space didn't start till 95 when the internet was in its infancy. No one bought shoes because they sold out. Back then shoes never did. They restocked numerous times and eventually went on sale (it's how my mom got me my 2nd pair of Infrareds going into 9th grade. Carmines were new color while black/Infrareds were on clearance.

Personally, it was such a better time back then in terms of everything. No technology in terms of computers that run the world. People were having conversations the normal way or by phone. And you went outside to play instead of online with a game console. And, let's be honest, sneakers back then we're WAY better design wise and material wise!! I'd go back to the early 90s if I could!!

I had a bet with my friend that you’d cave in.
Seriously spoonmanofthehour spoonmanofthehour ?!? Before these and the LAtoChis, I never flipped. Again, I was adamant that I didn’t need these, but my wife and I went to Portland, and I usually swing by the Nike Store, so we went. As soon as I saw them in the store, I knew I should’ve kept my az away from that place.

It will never be like it was. Hate to say that. But we all have to move on from it also. Im old compared to alot of guys in here. Still in it to enjoy what they are willing to still give us.

Sadly true. But it was such a great time to grow up in (we're probably close to the same age as I'm 43)! And whenever we get a nice Jordan OG retro or a Nike retro from back in those times, I get all geeked and count down to when they release. The Maestro 2 ASG Pippen PE was SUPER nice).

One pair so far. May shoot for one more. Been rocking mines with white laces and the contrast is cool.

When/if they do a black and a white cement pair like these it’s a 3 pair cop each.

As far as the Sizing talk, if it irks you bypass it. I personally think it’s cool since we all have different shape/size of feet. What about that chap that lives in the sticks that can’t just walk to one of his many sneaker shoes in his area to try them first them buy them?

At the end of the day at its your final decision to make in regards to sizing. Nobody can coerce you or sway you.

I’m gonna kick myself later for doing this, but I originally bought these to customize to black cements. However they were beautiful when I saw them and saw myself in a dilemma. But I had to do it because it was the original plan and honestly I cannot rock red shoes. I love how they turned out tho.
