Air Jordan IV “Black/Cement” - May 4th 2019

Thank god for NT....without this site we would not see any of the few improvements Nike has made.

I'm laughing again, cause we have sites like ISS (above) actually making statements that the black 4 retro "overall are very good."

None of us here expect these sites to rip Nike and the hand that feeds....but the general ignorance and continuing of this narrative that this retro program copies the originals and is remastered is just laughable.

Very true! Sometimes, though, I think ignorance would be bliss on this, and that I might be happier not remembering all the OG details that are wrong....heh.

My 99s crumbled a few years ago. RIP.
Bring them back to life, not that hard.

Looks like minor paint chipping on my pair.

It's nothing serious and maybe they came that way and I didn't notice, but I suppose it can happen. Been wearing them more this year to break them in. Recent 4s are tight as hell on my feet at first. Cool Grey 4s are even worse. Luckily these are getting more comfy now.

^it's really snowballed over the past few years

I remember when infrared VI's released both FTL and Champs had pairs available release day because ppl didn't sign up for reservations, same with black/cement III's

one that did surprise me recently was the fire red IV's this year, they still had a few sizes at Champs a couple of weeks after they released

I was selected on three accounts between my local Champs and FTL with no head starts on them

everyone is looking to make a quick small profit on stockx or goat and everything sells out quick. I've taken loss after loss on all that have come out recently. though last year the fire red V's and the dmp VI's were easy to get . what changed in one year? Carmines were impossible to get , fire red iv was pure luck

Carmines were the next shoe I entered FLX raffles for after fire red IV's and I thought it would be easy considering I got selected for three pairs of fire red IV's with no headstarts (one of the wins was initially a waitlist that got promoted to a W immediately after clicking I didn't want them on another account because it was the same name and store as another W :lol)

I think a lot of ppl got into shoes over the past year and the fire red V's and DMP VI's also may not have done well due to pandemic uncertainty

Had to pay resale (albeit very little) for Infrared 6s.

That's when I knew things were about to get really crappy. There's no such thing as Jordans for retail around here anymore. Maybe for a very few select and lucky people, but that's it.

M marztharealist

i've heard this for many, many years now
long before this release

Yeah this release sucks, but in ALL honesty it's the only wearable version, at THIS point. The 2008's will probably separate, and even if you get a pair of 1999's swapped, the durabuck will crack as soon you walk in them. It'll crack BADLY, and SUPER fast. Happened to my 2000 Black Infrared's, with the QUICKNESS!!! The 2012's are just TRASH as a whole, COMPLETELY.

I've had shoes that I paid retail for and then sold for 500 and STILL regretted it.

The money doesn't matter, it's having that classic in your hand.

I had 2 pairs of TS1's I got for retail. I sold one for 8 something, now look at the price. I still have one but I really wanna wear them. That's the main reason I'm bummed out.
