I've been just skipping thru this thread waiting for pics to surface from ppl who ordered early pairs. But I've sat at my cpu for damn near 2 hrs reading the about the last 20 pgs and this s#!+ is crazy! I'm still gonna keep my order from AR and see for myself when they are shipped. If they fake, I'll put in my dispute, get my refund, and just cop on RD. But I will def. post pics for y'all when they do FINALLY come in. But KobeFTW(L), NoobLee, and aNYh1ng def. have opened my eyes more to this early release crap. I wanted to get these early because I waited in line for 2-3 hrs for the CG release in 30 deg weather and didn't get a pair for myself (but was able to for my 2 sons) and was p!ssed. I was lucky enough to catch a restock, but I'm 30 yrs old and didn't want to have to go through that again, so I ordered early. But I can probably guarantee that this will be my 1st and last time doing this again.

Kind of what I thought. I am not 100% convinced these shoes from AR and SDS are fake. I just think they buy the over-run shoes from the nike factories. They are still made by NIKE. Which means they wouldn't be fake, they're just extra over produced shoes that weren't sent for distribution. Only way to be sure is when pics start floating and people start getting them

Why have we not seen any one on TEAM JORDAN with a pair on? If all these pairs being sold are "REAL", wouldn't a member of team jordan be rocking a pair by now?

there is no over-run shoes, if there are surplus the factories will chop them up, or drill a hole from the outsole thru the midsole just to make sure the shoes become defective. they don't take chances...

I got two pairs of CGs on release date. One pair has milky toe caps the other pair doesn't. I always thought that was strange. Both my SJs from 09 don't have the milky toes.

I see that too. It's not embedded. Looks like a sticker just like what the other person said. Now we know that the box is fake.

The thickness/shade whatever you wanna call it on the soles may just be something thats inconsistent with each pair, like the patent cuts... my guess. Like i said, im not saying these shoes are gonna be authentic or fake... Ill see for myself when they come in and i will post pics using my DSLR... lighting, no lighting, sun, shade whatever it takes. If theyre fake... ok, no prob send back and get my money. If theyre real... then ok again... get another on RD.

There really aren't any major differences, patent was cut slightly different but not every A-Grade pair released at retail stores are cut the same...some subtle differences but nothing major, except this which bothered me...

How is the end of production date 02/12/10? When they released in December of 2009?????

Doesn't make any sense at all...but again...you get what you pay for...

What do you call a shoe made at a Nike Factory with authentic materials but NOT approved by Nike? The debate continues...

These are the 2010 Cool Grey 11's. They are a size 11. I included a picture of the box and the footlocker receipt.



Here is a side by side heel tab comparison of the footlocker cool grey 11's with the size 11 Spacejams I bought from SlamDunkSpace. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but look how much higher the patent leather and stitching are on the spacejam. I know that patent leather cuts on the XI's are inconsistent persay, but on the Cool Greys there are a total of 8 vertical stitches on the heal tab, but on the spacejam there are 11 or 12!  count them yourselves!

Lol bro patent cuts are almost always inconsistent... The workers dont sit there and count out each stitch nor do they measure the sides of the patent cuts.... Wed be paying a lot more for these kicks if they went to that extent for every shoe

according to this seller, those shoes are "factory products" which means these are authentic shoes but without official releasing process.

I don't know how to understand the definition of "factory products", and those shoes seems like very-well made and good quality, but i just don't think these are authentic shoes.

there are so many examples, so i cannot list all of them, but i think these links above are typical.

these "factory products" have good quality and price, and most of them with box, even some of them come out several months earlier than official release.

i hope someone can tell me they are real shoes or high-quality fake.

PS: pay attention on EBAY, many of EBAY sellers (especially sellers in Hongkong, taiwan, and CA) have the same type of products as i provided links, so you basically cannot find any differences of tags, soles, and carbon fibers, and they just tell you those are real deal.
