The Boa system is on a lot of hiking boots.
It weighs more than laces and provides a less custom fit, while the thin wires make for lace pressure.
No one going on a serious trek would consider risking the system over laces due to durability.
The trade offs are to the point of anti performance.
If it weighs more and is less durable we've got to start talking pure gimmick

That's your opinion which does not apply to others by default.
For me, the 30 was the least creative, daring design for any air jordan in the whole main signature line.
Even the 7 or 10 looked revolutionary to their direct predecessor compared to the changes between AJ 29 to 30.

The 28 and 29 might have less surface elements than the 30 but they looked special and clean.
The rubber toe with the oversized jumpman and the giant xxx at the heel are a no for me. The jumpman should have placed on the tongue, the midsole design should have been more altered and the xxx at the heel being more artisticly applied on.

Anyway, back to the 33 shoe.
I think it was good not to make them resembling too much of the 3.
