I got rid of the SE. looks great from side view, colorway is fire, couldn’t deal with the leather strip on the toe box. Should have stopped it after the laces, or rounded it off on the toe.

like you said, the middle strip is somewhat off putting. Said when initial pix surfaced that that strip doesn’t really flow with em.

The Bayou Boys on the back killed them for me. Can’t do it.

for me, they look fine and worked well. so far kinda reminds me of the He got Game 13s. would have loved the 13's if not for the off-putting asymmetrical design of the entire shoe. also, for a shroud, they looked much better than the Iverson Legacy which I felt the shroud was overdone and unnecessary and poorly executed. although I would still cop a pair of black and whites or baby blues of those shoes.

Those amber rise are definitely fire. I love the color blocking on the SE's but I don't like the strip down the middle and I'm not a fan of the zipper. They're definitely not ugly, just not my favorite. My taste is extremely weird though. Hell I used to buy all the Kobes from 4 through 8. It's crazy to me not many were on the Kobe's once the 4 came out. Like I litterally walked into the Galleria in Houston the day the OG Carpe Diems came out and was the only person at the Foot Locker. off-topic, not really weird but personal preference. as far as Kobes go, I like the Kobe 2s. I had the OG White Vivos and lasted me for an eternity before I trashed them they were heavy duty hard but still comfortable and played my best basketball games in them when I got younger knees and legs. also, as far as casual wear goes, I always have mad love for the Kobe X mid EXTs. be it red, gold, white, black, I'd have them. too bad I gave away the reds and never both an extra red and the black pair which I'm still regretting.

Yeah, I have always like the Kobes. I had the All Star Kobe 1 when they first came out in 06. I had almost every Kobe 4 even the 4 rings which I got lucky on. Manager at the Footlocker at the Galleria held them for me because I always bought the Kobe's from that store.

Still a garbage colorway, but I'm glad you like yours, and at least I get what they may have been going for with the random red. Not sure how that applies to Zion or his story but I'm sure there's some explanation.

I must say it would have been decent if they didn't put some alligator skin on them but instead used a reflective chrome gold, and instead of using that excrement brown colorway, possibly an off-white could work. also, some reds on those fuse linings. all in all, instead of excrement boys colorway, a Titan or Spartan Colorway is sick ! just by looking at those Bayou Boys still gives me that "eeewww" face.

At this point what are they making anyway $30-$40 on them? They’re better off stocking up on TP and flats of water...Wuhan Flu is where the money is now...Somebody get Travis Scott to take a pic sitting on a throne made of TP and Clorox wipes...

I went on offerup yesterday checking for the bayou boys and ended up spotting these for $85. The guy told me he got them for his son but his wife didn’t like them
