All Things Sports Media Thread!!

Seems like espn are gonna fire most of their sportscenter staff. They tryna be like fs1 and just have more people talking about the same topics for 16-18 hours. It’s just overkill and debate fatigue. At least be entertaining and funny like nfl network’s morning show.

rachel nichols is such an idiot. She complains about unnecessary drama but she always likes to talk about if durant and westbrook will be friends again. Why the hell does she care so much?

Ain't nothing interesting about him to me. I don't know if he racist or not but he goes above and beyond to defend racist **** on that show. He real suspect and he don't know sports. I guess ESPN think it's good TV to have the stuck up white southern man who defends racist stuff vs the white male from NY who's "liberal". It was funny as hell when he had a meltdown cuz people was calling him out.

I don't even listen to the first podcast like I used cuz of him. I just catch clips on youtube with Max and Stephen A.

Ive listened to dude maybe a handful of times.. dude is a bootleg skip replacement

I would assume she talks about the things her staff/higer ups tell her to talk about.

Doesn't directly reflect her level of care

^ Actually he was part of the mass layoff way back 9 months ago - he's been on Big Ten Network for a bit.
I always liked Katz, most guys like him who are straight up guys have no value any longer to the Evil Empire it's sad.

So if espn getting rid of more sportscenters for more talking shows about the same topics over and over doesn’t help their ratings, what do they do next? Besides Highly Questionable, ath, and Bomani’s upcoming show I don’t care about their other shows.

Honestly, I'm starting to think the ESPN higher-ups are moving to all Ball-family 24 hours a day across all ESPN platforms. They might as well go all-in, they're basically there anyway.

That would be when I call my cable company and tell them to remove all espn channels.
