Series isn't over. Yes, Indiana has played better, but it's still a series. I just can't stand seeing Chandler AND Kidd at the same time on the court. It's literally 3 on 5 on offense, and if Shump and Kmart are with Melo it's practically 1 on 5. Can't blame melo for this, and I'm not the biggest Melo fan. Put LeBron on here and it's worse than cleveland 5 years ago. Put Kobe here and it's like all his losses vs the Suns. If JR makes a third of his shots and we don't give up a million offensive rebounds we got a chance. One game at a time, at least we're still alive.
...And also Kidd just offers absolutely nothing. Put in Prigoni, Cope, Novak, hell Id rather see Qrich than him. He would be useless in the d-league or a d3 college team right now.

Man, I can't be the only one who's absolutely devastated by this loss. What hurts is that I really don't think we've played our best ball all series long. That's what's killing me.
I can't blame this one on Melo either. Dude played hard, but what happened in the 4th? Tyson's lack of defense, our constant switching, Woodson's awful adjustments and out shooters going cold from the field.
Playing Melo at the 4 was the WORST idea you could've done, but the Pacers knew that and knew how to beat NY. We honest lost this series, because we didn't play our best and Indiana put in more effort.
On another note. You guys think JR will use his option? I think he still does.

Honestly tho, the Pacers have done an incredible job of locking up our shooters and playing defense. We're not just missing shots because we're "cold".
We're missing shots because all we do is take outside shots and its become way to predictable to defend. We don't get buckets inside, we don't get fast break points, we don't get easy buckets - so all the Pacers have to do it lock everyone up past 10 feet.
It's simple man, it sucks to say but teams like this don't last in the playoffs. The Nuggets were the same way except they could only score inside buckets and had no jump shooters. You need a balance, and we don't have that.

I am devastated, three minutes for Prigs is just unacceptable, I mean I know Kidd has a ring, but Prigs does bring some offense, and when our shooting goes cold he can make plays just as well if not better than Kidd. This team was the best team we've had in a minute and now we aren't even against the ropes, we're in the corner getting worked over.
