I've been teaching in Seoul since the end of 2003.  I've had a great experience so far, never thought I would stay here so long.  I've worked for two different companies in addition to a public school.  I am currently working here: http://www.teachinkorea.com/.  Starting wage is around 27,000won/hour ($23.50 US/hr or $24.30 CA/hr).

my cousin was in japan for 6 months teaching little japaneese kids english. the parent of the kids paid her to be there. she got the gig when she was doing her masters at UCLA.
