QFT...

i can get into a club and get my own VIP section anytime I want for free and still have no desire to go lol.

It's something that never interested me. My friends are in love with the idea but it is something that just sounds highly overrated.

Didn't read the thread aside from the OP

Never clubbed, and i'm 23.

I got all the partying out of my system in high school, from 13-17 I was out every weekend here there everywhere, by second semester senior year I was done with it.

I have gone once or twice, pretentious skeezes trying to get you to buy em a drink, $10 shots and $8 beer isn't the business. Not for me at least. I can get a 12 pack for the price of a shot in the club, and for the price of 4 shots I can have a decent bottle or two of tequila in the store and chill with my people somewhere without the attitude.
EDIT:

I am not even a die hard club person but I stopped going at around 26-27. When you are in your late 20's or even just in your 30's, you always here people say they want to go to lounges instead of clubs and when they go to lounges, they always want a club atmosphere.

Bars are the same way. I go to a lot more bars now then clubs but I always find that they lack good music.

Started at 18 stopped at 20. Club is not really my scene sure its "cracking" but I'm too chill so I rather go to a lounge when I'm 21.

There's really no cut off age for clubbing in NYC ...if I had to choose an age, I'd say 45 (if you're single and ballin' out of control yeah).

If you're a regular dude, ugly, broke, and over 33 I'd say start hanging out at sports bars or lounges and go for broke.

By my calculations I'm 27 and a DJ I have until 33-35 to go to the club without looking like a psycho with Peter Pan syndrome.
when you start getting flabby in the mid-section and going bald your run is up

. Them dudes freak me out.

A tee and kicks to go out though?...what kind of hoosboogers ya plan on attracting dressed like that, obviously you are gonna have a hard time getting a woman's attention when they are dressed to kill and you look like %+@%...funny story is going to the club with your wife and having females show you even more attention than if you were alone...that ALWAYS happens.

Hell that's what I'd wear to clubs, assuming there was no dress code.  Although I'd be trying to not attract attention to myself, even when I was single.  Clubs are nothing but a meat market these days and I don't need some random stranger looking for a reason to feel me up
