totally understood.
but they also make ton of money from damaged phones repair so why would they lose out on that? to make the phone better? to whom? not every phone is waterproof nor can't break.

very true. They love planned obsolescence. I'm basically being strong armed into upgrading since my battery has gone to crap since downloading iOS 8.

I'll be cool with my 5S for now. Come next year I'll cop a new one. Minor changes to the 6S and 6+S. Only things I can see them upgrading would be the water proof and dust proof, stronger glass, faster charging, less bezel

Ok this is what I did, I hope it works for you guys

Step 1: download "AppSync Unified" and Flex 2 from Cydia

Step 2: download iFunBox for your computer and then download the ipa app.

Step 3: Open iFunBox and install NBA game time.

Step 4: after it successfully installs, go a couple pages back and follow the settings for flex.

After that it should work perfectly without creating a UK account.

That one up there just worked me. Thank God my old moviebox stopped working like 2 days ago and I was pissed.
 
gonna go apple today, try to buy iphone 6 16gb for sprint, RETAIL (not 2 yr contract)

opinions? yay or nay? it is really expensive $750 after tax i think but it would make the don happy

i got a prompt to update to 8.1.1

should i? i still havnt jailbroke my 6. i want to so it can have some of the android features i lost on my transition. or should i just succumb to only do what apple wants me to do and just conform to them and their ways like most of yall? :tongue:
 
can anyone help out here...my screen is shot. completely black with the exception of seeing a very thin line at the top. took it to the apple store and they are going to exchange it out for free. they said whatever happened to it appears to ba a manufacturing defect. of course none of my stuff is backed up. i bought icloud storage but havent backed it up. i plug my phone into a computer but it asks me to respond on my phone...and i cannot (due to the screen being unresponsive) should i go get the screen fixed and then back it up and get the replacement. Or will i be sol as in they probably cant even fix the screen...is there any way around the respond on your phone question in itunes?
 
if you get screen fixed through a non authorized apple repair that will void your 1 year apple care warranty i believe.

have you tried asking one of the apple specialist if there's any thing that you or that they could do to recover that stuff?

yes. apparently they said they cant do anything because they cant see the screen also. the best option they said would be to plug it into the computer it synched with. let me mention that my phone is a 5 so its been out of that one year warranty window. also the dude took all the notes and said all i had to do was pick up the new phone and hand over my old one. i really only need my screen to display so it can accept my cpu recognizing it to back up.

im not even sure why itunes asks for that...my sister plugs in her phone fine and it dosent ask then again she is a frequent cloud user.

^ im concerned about my pictures... i havent backed up the phone since 2013. Arent pictures stored locally to the phone if you dont back it up or use icloud?

Can anyone help with this issue? Can't seem to sync on itunes 12. I authorized my computer and also my iphone 6+. It just keeps going through this loop whenever i try to sync. It is jailbroken on 8.1. I haven't really installed anything yet just appsync and one app through iFunBox.

what is your opionion of coverage and data in your area?

I live in the middle of nowhere so it's not here Yet.

If I had an option to go with sprint for just a cost perspective I would change in a moment. I don't understand why others have not changed?

Had it back in 2010 was garbage. It doesn't help that they are on CDMA and if you work or live in a place with thick walls signal can't get through.
 
where I live sprint is top notch and is a third of what I pay Verizon.

The reason I don't use them is because everyday I am located somewhere different on the east coast and if I miss a call it can cost me anywhere from $500-2k. :/

You're going to have to take the L, if iTunes needs you to respond and you can't see the screen then there's nothing you can do. Download ifunbox and see if that program can get into your phone?
