I posted a way to fix and restore any iphone A5/A6 device a few pages back....If you was jailbreak sorry to here it. I was similar with about 8 or so of "other"

Thing is often times especially if you use Pandora, it leaves a lot of cache and memory of everything/songs you have played. Also often times when you d/l a theme or a tweak and erase it through the ui, it still leaves traces of the file. And after while those small traces/left over files eventually build up.

Text messages do the same thing as well as pictures/videos, you tube does it. The phone is just like a cpu (I mean it basically is a cpu) If you were to never defrag your pc, and never completely erase software games programs, it will build up and start taking up a lot of your ram/hd space. Same thing except you notice it more because the phone hd memory is significantly smaller.

beta 2 does has some issues, I was working with it a little while ago. Ill post some of them when I get some free time, but yea beta 2 is a little less buggy then the last iteration.

Yeah it was getting ridiculous man. I assumed it was the jailbreak tweaks i use but then again i dont even use a lot. Like 5 of them i use. I dont use winterboard or anything

And whenever I did delete something i use cydia and i also use ifile to delete any old files

Ncsettings was the only reason i jailbroken honestly. Control center is in so im good

now all they care about are ******g iphones

some of us actually use computers for creative content, not lamebook or instagram. about time for me to download linux i think.

apple websites are filled with lame *** sneakerhead twerps these days too. probably the same kids who used to say "dood u use a mac. lolz you cant even play games on them"

Can you shed some more info on how to delete the "other" stuff please?

I've tried deleting the photos from the SMS in iFile, and it wasnt working.


On the other hand, I really wanna try iOS7 but as long as there isnt quick reply yet, still won't make the jump.

never registered but still got pushed for beta 2.  Maybe i'm just not as into tech as I once was but besides a few minor differences aesthetically/performance wise it's not breathtakingly different to me.

Yeah I am not trying to overhype it but there are some great changes that I am excited about. When it officially releases it will be nice. I think air drop will be big.

YouTube search some ios 7 videos. They should have the download link in the description

I posted how to upgrade a few posts up

Anyways download an iphone 5 gsm file because thats for AT&T iphone 5

Then make a back up of your device

Upgrade to 6.1.4 if you arent there already. Upgrade and restore

If you have 6.1.4 than ignore that step

Now where it says check for update, hold shift and click it. A window will pop up. Just look for the ios 7 file you downloaded and viola

When it downloads just go thru the setup but dont restore yet. When you get to the homescreen then you can restore from your backup

Ok can someone help, I put in my phone and it automatically backups correctly? But when I choose backup it only gives me like 4 options none of which were this backup. like 1/2/13 and 9/12 etc.

Dont see the big deal with air drop. Can someone elaborate on it? Im still on 6.1.2 not losing my jailbreak until the GM is jailbroken

airdrop is basically the same thing as samsungs s-beam. instead of using nfc, airdrop incorporates Bluetooth. Like if you wanted to share a file/pic etc....You don't have to send it through a sms/mms. You can just sync and connect via blutooth to someone nearby and just send the pics/files etc... ANd they are 128bit encrypted I believe, so the only ppl who receive the files/pic can open and send it.

I mean s-beam/airdrop imo are both kinda meh to me. I mean really all it does is save you a step of instead of seeking a contact and sending a mms/file etc. It recognizes the person is near you, the contact info pops up and then you just send.
