I just saw part of the title for this vid a few months back. Didn’t want to watch it. Guess he just says watch it or don’t.

We had Get Out and Black Panther and the train is still moving at top speed.

I hope this is the moment for the asian community, start with one to grab popular cultures attention, then set records with the follow up.

Seen the movie last night, not bad for a Rom Com. I liked seeing Awkwafina and Jimmy O Yang in there and Gemma Chan was good for her role

her changing her name to bennett is understandable. you’re not going to get many auditions for roles if casting directors didn’t plan for specific roles to be played by an Asian. Other actors changed their names for similar reasons (oscar isaac, martin sheen).

understandable? sure. but its also giving in and a sign of weakness. lets not forget that.

I don’t think it’s weak. We probably wouldn’t see Oscar Isaac in so many diverse roles if he used his real last name. I don’t blame the actor for wanting to get more opportunities.

There are actors like John Cho who keep their identity, decline stereotypical roles, give opportunities to young Asian American actors/actresses and new directors, stick up for Asian actors on set when they encounter racism, etc. Then there's people like Wang who change their last name for the purpose of not looking Asian, do nothing for the community, and cape for people who are racist against Asians. If there were 20 John Cho's in Hollywood, it would help Asian Americans in film/television. If there were 20 Chloe Wangs in Hollywood, it would not. There's a convenience factor to the way she moves. She don't give a f about us. Her clown *** will be telling everyone she's Wang again when she's auditioning for future Asian-American roles.

Shouts to Awkwafina and Michelle Yeoh but I think I'm going to pass on this flick. I just can't sit in a theater and watch a Rom Com. I *** with Asian cinema and I hope the film does well. Also, shouts to Steven Yeun for his role in Sorry To Bother You.

I don't care how famous one gets, people always respect character > fame. At least those with a brain do. And the fact she'd date a clown like Logan Paul says enough about her.
