Asian Culture Discussion Thread

The problem is mind-blowing Pho is few and Far between, most pho spots out side Vietnam are mediocre at best.

even in vietnam I like maybe 2 places.

It's one of those things that's seem super simple but extremely difficult to execute well.
Is one of those 2 places Pho Pasteur in Saigon?

Pho is boring to me after eating it almost every week.

Give me Mi Quang, Bun Bo Hue, or Bun Rieu any day.

Wildin...y'all be eating that dew dew pho that's why you get tired of it.

Mom's pho >>>>>

It's only something you eat when you're in the mood for or after a long night out.. BBH is that good stuff too

This thread reminded me, I haven't had Asian food in a while. Ever since I married a white girl, all she'd wanna eat is pasta and pork chops.

Well, that's not the ONLY thing she eats :lol but she just rarely wants to eat any Asian food.

Only had bubble tea once and I ordered taro since my friend said it's like ube. Also ordered a taro smoothie at a dim sum place and it was crack.

Green apple with lychee jelly. Tapioca is overrated to me.

A lot of online dating site data suggest that Asian (and Indian men) are the least desired men in the dating scene.

This has always blown my mind given the huge contrast to how well Asian men (in general) do in the professional world.

After thinking it over, IMO it boils down to:

1) Confidence (lack thereof)

2) Self Image (Asians are generally more obsessed with superficial things which isn't aligned with masculine attributes Western women are attracted to)

3) Height (hard truth, we're generally shorter and it's a physical filter for a lot of women.)

Other than 3) above, everything else is in your control. Even if you are vertically challenged, you can still live a lifestyle and maintain a mental attitude that is attractive to women.

I'm Filipino, about average height (5'10,) and moderately successful in a corporate finance job, and I'm totally satisfied with my sex life. Not that it matters, but for perspective, I've slept with 5 different white women so far this year lol. I attribute it to just being confident and living a lifestyle that is fun and engaging.

I hate when Asian guys blame any dating/love life issues on their race. It's a cop out. There should be no reason for race itself to be an inhibitor to getting laid. You are playing yourself if you think it is!

Question about the females.

I rarely see a non Big girl, Asian woman with ultimate *******. Is this something Asian men know they aren't really going to get or am I just seeing the wrong ones.
