I had Fatburger when I was in Vegas. Pretty good. Also went to that Heart Attack Grill place during a bachelor party trip. I don't think anyone finished their burger, we got full quick.

I haven't heard of any of those burger joints except smashburger. Smashburger ain't bad. Probably the second best spot within fifteen minutes of me
Yeah they're most based in the Bay Area. I regrettably didn't go look for good burger spots around NYC like I did in LA, Chicago, and Seattle. How's the burgers out there?

when NY is back up I def wanna go here. I hope they didn’t go out of business

We got the burrito game on lock

I’ll give NY pizza and bagels.

Not sure what is meant by Chinese takeout though. Like broccoli beef and walnut shrimps?
Yeah. It's guaranteed that every hood and neighborhood will have a decent Chinese spot. I can be in a random area and find some good grub.

That type of Chinese food is easily found all over the bay and SGV, but the title of best Panda Express-tier Chinese food is not something I want to fight over so I will let y’all have it.

Hop Kee is the spot in Chinatown all the Filipinos go to for some reason.

Wo Hop is another spot that's open 24 hours. Last time I was there I was absolutely wasted and kept blacking out.

Honestly man, every big city in California has alot of good taquerias. I have like 5 spots that I rotate in San Francisco alone and 10 spots in the east bay. San Jose is great for burritos too. San Diego has some great places too. You guys in LA have good variety though, I'll give you that. The only city I haven't explored is Sacramento when it comes to burritos. NYC honestly disappointed when it came to burritos, but they have plenty of other food to offer so it wasn't a big deal.

Your post reminded of a small hole in the wall in SF that all the locals goto for Filipino breakfast. It’s called Superstar Restaurant and it’s owned and cooked by a Chinese family

what am I missing from the city?

just had a shrimp quesadilla from Farolito today too after the protest :pimp:

Filipino breakfast is my favorite. Definitely part of the reason my cholesterol is high and I wear jeans with a lot of stretch.

Bro, those are 4/5 of my Spots. Guadalajara is the MVP for me though. The last spot in a taqueria on 16th between Valencia and Mission called something with "Coyote" in its name. There's also another decent spot across the street from that one, but they put lettuce in their burritos for some reason.

Good lord, I just realized that I haven't had longganisa with rice and egg for a looong time. I need my fix tomorrow.

Pretty sure I’ve never been to Coyote. I’ll put it on the list to try soon 8o

Yeah, I've always thought Guadalajara is better too. If I'm out there late night, I let the annoying drunk transplants spend their time waiting in line at El Farolito while I get my food ASAP (or at least much faster) at Guadalajara. Being around those people at EF just ruins my mood :lol

Dude, wth, I was just thinking about this place when I made my last post. I haven't went there in while a because my jack-*** friend told me they closed down. I should've ignored him because he doesn't know Excelsior that well since he's from Fillmore.

Agreed, In N Out is decent, but I usually stick to my local spots if I'm craving a burger. Super Duper, Smash Burger, Beep's, Pearl's Deluxe Burgers, Bullshead, and BigMouth Burger are my go to's. Too many good spots over here in the bay to settle for In N Out regularly. I only go there for a quick bite or if it's the only thing around that's open.

we got super dupers/smashburgers in the bay

i miss savoy

The Korean food in LA and Santa Clara :pimp:

aint nothin like $17 AYCE kbbq. is the meat amazing quality? nope, but it's less than $20

I hate it when they get to the front of the line AND STILL HAVEN'T DECIDED WHAT TO ORDER YET. What the hell were you doing when you were waiting in line the whole time?!

The burger at Suprema Provision and Brindle Room aren't really mainstream popular but personally my favorite burgers. To get either is a bit of a travel for me because both are in downtown Manhattan, I live in long Island. Suprema Provision was a youtube recommended spot. I don't remember how I heard of the Brindle Room.

My favorite mainstream burger joint is Shake Shack, followed by smashburger. I believe both are available on the west coast now, smh
