Have the upmost respect and pride for his humanity and contribution to the Game. Doing good things.
All things equal though, Lin’s personal and professional history is much more relatable to more Asian Americans.
Just saying. Go Ivan Drago or Rocky Balboa.
Did enjoy seeing Yao live at Oakland Arena back in day. Community support was tremendous.

I think the reason why it isn't happening is because fighting back against cops that kill us is fighting the establishment.

Also, remember this was during Peak Covid times so people were also fighting against the Federal Government for mishandling the pandemic.

I agree though, it should be a big deal but remember cops killing black people was pushed aside forEVER before last summer..

Again, not even downplaying the two but there were many factors that sparks the protests last summer.

Yeah the bubble finally bursted for yall last summer, it was just a matter of time before people would protest and riot especially for all the wrongful killings over YEARS. I also SIMPLY ASKED if he was lying. I didn’t think he was but people are allowed to ask the question JPS . Nowhere on this site did I even attempt to make any kind or argument that he was lying. I merely asked. People do lie, you know.

The answer to your other question can also be answered By not coming in on the 430th+ page of the thread and making assumptions.

And we are not about to sit here and pretend that Jeremy Lin is beyond reproach or protected from criticism. He’s not, so if he needs to be criticized he will be.

He is not a bad guy from what I can tell. The fact remains that many find him annoying and as far as basketball goes he is basically irrelevant.

that "soysaucesupremacist" hashtag ... they think it's a cute way to patronize people who call out white supremacy.

i probably need to just not get off social media entirely. i recently got blocked by a page called the "blackbayarea." i generally rock with the page and agree with their sentiments; but i commented on one of their posts where they tried to say asian folks in the bay were "stealing" the vaccine from black and brown communities. they proceeded to post some ******** about how it's not their responsibility to explain their position and then blocked me. stuff like asian dawn and my experience with the black bay area make me jaded as ****.

I mentioned this a while back and people insisted on posting their content here.

The defense for posting their trash content has been “But Asian_Dawn brings awareness to the violence against Asians!”

As if there aren’t other pages doing that while managing not to be racist as hell.
How are people combating racism with more racism and outright lies?
