Then decorate to include your fireplace as an accent piece to your room rather than the focal point

man thats tough but can the couch fit where the window is?
then you can put the tv against the wall opposite to the window

i don't know though. try that or try turning the couch towards the wall in the middle of the room
and have a little "walkway" behind the couch

I PREFER A COUCH TO NOT BE AGAINST A WALL. LOOKS BETTER IN THE MIDDLE OF A SPACE. UNFORTUNATELY, WITH MY SPOT IT ISNT AN OPTION FOR ME

there really wouldnt be any walk room if i put two couches. This what its like now. Wish i didnt have all these walls and it was more open.. gotta hide those wires too.. >D

My new floor plan, having trouble deciding where to place my sofa, coffee table, office desk, tv and stand. Moving into a smaller unit in the city.

I have a sliding glass door where I would usually place the TV, may even mount in the corner and place the tv stand cattycorner

I would turn the couch 180, say f the fireplace and Put the back of the couch 1-2ft from the fireplace.

Put a tv where the couch is now

^That's what I was going to suggest.

Have the TV positioned where the long couch is and have the couch positioned at the opposite direction. Opens up the path from the kitchen to the TV area.

Put a tv in the corner by the balcony

Get good blinds

If you put it high enough you can watch tv from your bed with the sliding door open

Hmmm

Has anyone here dealt with a sponge design type wall paint? Maybe its not called a "sponge" design, but I've seen it in some houses and it looks really good.

ANYONE CURRENTLY HAVE A BEAN BAG CHAIR?
I have one from Ultimate Sac that I got about 8 years ago. It's a cheaper version of Love Sac (or at least was at the time). It's really effing comfortable, just gotta toss it around and fluff it like once a month. I have it in my office area of my apartment right now, but can't sit in it during the day because I'll end up taking a nap. I have a few friends who end up always passing out in it every time they come over. I'll post a picture tomorrow after I have a minute to clean up my desk area.

For the 2nd pic

I thought you were trying to put the tv where the loveseat is on a cabinet or something.

The loveseat would be in front on the fireplace. I didn't know what your furniture was like, now that I do the Sofa has to go along the long wall no matter what.

If you like the tv where it is the 1st pic is the best option by far

THE THIRD OPTION IS THE BEST TO ME BUT THE ISSUE IS THE LOVESEAT ON THE SIDE KIND OF CROWDS THE SPACE A BIT TOO MUCH IN THAT CONFIGURATION.

I’m not sure when that trend started but it’s not a good look. I don’t like when TVs are too high. My tv is mounted eye level when seated on the couch.

I see some living room set ups where there’s no choice but to place it above the fire place. Just have to angle it down
