batman/Bruce wayne vs Iron man/ tony stark

If you need a specific suit/weapon to battle an enemy you'd go with Iron Man.

If you need to figure out exactly when the perfect opportunity would be use to use said suit/weapon you'd go with Batman.
Please, batman won't even use a gun if his life depended on it. Heck, joker begs him to kill him and he still won't

With a year or a month of prep time both would be planning strategies but would Stark really go as in depth as Wayne?

I see him building a new suit for Batman's weaknesses and that's that.

Batman would be focusing on Stark 24/7, having multiple back ups and solutions for every variable.

Bats smarts are being undersold here
  • Genius Intellect: (Batman's IQ is possibly well over 200) Batman is a brilliant, virtually peerless, detective, strategist, scientist, tactician, and commander; he is widely regarded as one of the keenest analytical minds on the planet. Given his lack of superpowers, he often uses cunning and planning to outwit his foes, rather than simply "out-fighting" them.
  • Polymath: He has studied Biology, Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Mythology, Geography, & History. Gained degrees in Criminal Science, Forensics, Computer Science, Chemistry and Engineering by the time he was 21. He has mastered Diverse Environmental Training, Security Systems, and illusion/sleight of hand by the time he was 23. He gained even more degrees in Biology, Physics, Advanced Chemistry, and Technology by the time he was 25. He has learned Forensic, Medical Sciences, Expanded Computer and Engineering Sciences, and Expanded Device Pool use of personal powered armor and system, database creation on underworld crime bosses, rogue's gallery foes and other supers; improved material sciences for body armor and micro-machinery by the time he was 26. Has also learned Advanced New Development in Forensic and Medical Sciences.
  • Master Detective: He is widely considered as the World's Greatest Detective, capable of observation, forensic investigation, and inductive and deductive reasoning of the highest caliber. Human intuition is an unlearnable trait and one of Batman's most effective tools. Given any mystery, he can arrive at any conclusions with a fraction of the data.
  • Multi-Lingual: He is able to speak Spanish, French, Latin, German, Japanese, English, Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, and possibly more.
  • Master Strategist: He commonly utilizes cunning tactics to outwit his foes. He is an excellent leader and at times commands the Justice League and the Outsiders.
  • Escapologist: He has been described as second only to Mister Miracle as an escape artist. He has been seen escaping from a posey straitjacket in less than 52 seconds, and remarked afterwards that the time was way too slow for him.
  • Crack Pilot: Has been seen flying the various versions of the Batplanes with ease and flying a helicopter.
  • Expert Tracker: Trained in hunting techniques by African Bushmen (the Ghost Tribes of the Ten-eyed Brotherhood, among others).
  • Master of Disguise: Has mastered the art of disguise by the time he was 23. Has further learned Expanded Disguise techniques by the time he was 26. Batman has many aliases he uses to infiltrate the underworld or just to go undercover in public situations. His current aliases are: Matches Malone, Thomas Quigley, Ragman, Detective Hawke, Sir Hemingford Grey,Lester Krutz, Frank Dixon, Gordon Selkirk, and Mr. Fledermaus.
  • Expert Mechanic and Driver: Batman is proficient at combat driving. He has also pioneered improved vehicle designs. In addition, he has been trained and is proficient in basic vehicular operations.
So in Tech: Iron Man>>>Batman

Tactics, Strategy, Detective work, Analyzing opponents: Batman>>>>Iron Man

Again, if they lived in the same universe, all of Batmans tech would come from stark industries. He'd just expose him to the world after he tracks the orders then remote detonate the bat cave

The whole TOB series shows how stupid batman is when his emotions get involved. All he did was temporarily disable them. They came back, and kicked him out of the justice league.

Iron man has fought Godzilla, hulk, Thor, and intergalactic menaces.

So your point is?

So Superman is lesser than Thor, Godzilla, Hulk, and intergalactic menaces?

And emotions?

I'd say it shows his distrust of everyone and everything and shows his meticulous nature in forming plans against perceived threats.

Would it?

You think he would put that much faith in Stark/trust in him?

Nah.

Tony Stark is an inventive genius whose expertise in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science rivals that of Reed Richards, Hank Pym, and Bruce Banner, and his expertise in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering surpasses even theirs. He is regarded as one of the most intelligent characters in the Marvel Universe. He graduated with advanced degrees in physics and engineering at the age of 17 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)[55] and further developed his knowledge ranging from artificial intelligence to quantum mechanics as time progressed. His expertise extends to his ingenuity in dealing with difficult situations, such as difficult foes and deathtraps, in which he is capable of using available tools, including his suit, in unorthodox but effective ways. He is well respected in the business world, able to command people's attention when he speaks on economic matters, having over the years built up several multi-million dollar companies from virtually nothing. He is noted for the loyalty he commands from and returns to those who work for him, as well as for his business ethics. Thus he immediately fired an employee who made profitable, but illegal, sales to Doctor Doom.[56] He strives to be environmentally responsible in his businesses.
At a time when Stark was unable to use his armor for a period, he received some combat training from Captain America and has become physically formidable on his own when the situation demands it.[57] He received further hand-to-hand combat training from Happy Hogan (a professional boxer) and James Rhodes (a United States Marine Corps combat pilot).[volume & issue needed]
In addition, Stark possesses great business and political acumen. On multiple occasions he reacquired control of his companies after losing them amid corporate takeovers.[58]
Due to his membership in the Illuminati, Iron Man was given the Space Infinity Gem to safeguard.[59] It allows the user to exist in any location (or all locations), move any object anywhere throughout the universe and warp or rearrange space. Iron Man has not used it on any occasion, even after the Secret Invasion and his fugitive status.

Hand to hand combat training from Capitan America, Happy Hogan, and Rhodes dog.

Plus, if he wanted to use that infinity gem, womp womp womp

My point being Bats wouldn't trust Stark so much to get tech from him, seeing what we know in the TOB comic he would have a plan for Iron Man as well and having the same tech would be stupid.

He'd know he couldn't use his Stark's own tech against him.

Cqc combat training with his mix of God powers, yes that's enough. Gotta add it up fam

Tell me one thing that will affect iron man enough to the point of losing.

Stark industries makes all other tech obsolete. If bats is getting stuff elsewhere he's already at a disadvantage

When you have kryptonite to stop him? YES.

And emotions?

Batman is usually shown as a brooding emo. Son doesn't even enjoy yambs.

Even the Punisher with his dedicated/obsessive war on crime enjoys yambs.
