Battlefield 3's Pre Orders hit 1.25 Million

During the Citi 2011 Tech Conference on Wednesday, September 7, Electronic Arts CFO Eric Brown announced that Battlefield 3 pre-orders have hit around the 1.25 million mark, and are tracking ahead of previous Battlefield games.

“To date we have about 1.25 million preorders on Battlefield 3, so it’s still well ahead of its predecessor title, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, in regards to preorders in the same number of weeks till launch,

word. being able to talk to your squad makes things a lot easier. In COD, it just makes the connection (and lag) worse!

Come on now guys. You don't have to be a loyal fan of the series or anything, but at least use Google. The first game in the series was called Battlefield 1942. As in, during WWII.

bc2 is my first for the console. i use to play 1942 and bf2 along with all the expansions on pc.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. I should have said returned to WWII. I'd really like to see WWII in the frostbite 2 engine.

Battlefield 1943 actually. I'd say its in my top 3 most played PS3 games. I love that game.

Never had a PC that could run these games growing up. I only knew of the series through video game magazines and later the internet. The series has always interested me.

I downloaded BF2 a few months ago, but couldn't get into it. It's too old now.

Skipped over BC1 because I was playing COD. After playing BC2 I knew that BF was my new favorite FPS.

UPDATE 3: I added the sub icons, i used the ones from the POP one and edited the saturation to fit the main ones, i used them because i didn't wanted to do a recolor and wanted to look like it has a textures on it and not just plain recolor of the original ones.
Now i have to resize the main ones so it doesn't overlap with the text, and some other minor adjustments.
