Best Hotels to stay in Vegas??

Dont stay at the Palms its off the strip and will be a pain to travel back and forth. Partying there is cool, but when im in Vegas i want to be in the middle of the action ON the strip. Stay at either Aria, Palazzo, Planet Hollywood (the towers inc) or MGM Grand Skylofts if your looking to spend decent $ on a hotel.

I've been hitting up vegas practically every other week for the past 6 months. Stayed at various spots and hit up plenty of clubs. I just came back the other week and went to the new club at Encore called Surrender. They turned the Encore Beach Club into Surrender at night. The atmosphere is chill, girls are nice to look at, a small casino in there like XS. But its mostly trance/techno mixes and there is practically no dance floor. Redbull vodka cost 19$ ftl. XS is prolly the best club out there still.

lets say me and 4 friends want to go to vegas for thanksgiving break.. what would be the best option to get a big room and just split it? Most rooms online say guest 4 but they can realistically sleep like 10 or whatever. And which hotels/ rooms are good?
