No explanation is really needed.  All 3 of their discog's and versatility speak for themselves.  Dilla was also a hip-hop pioneer that paved the way for a lot of producers and artists today, including Just Blaze.

I just find it odd he wants to work with Britney. Her music was okay when it was urban back in the early 00's but her team has had her hitched on commercial producers recently. Seems like that'd turn Hit Boy off. But his stuff has been legit lately.

at suggesting Dilla and Madlib aren't the very top tier of hip-hop producers. There are very very few producers who could do what they can, and they can (could) do anything any other producers have done/are doing.

Never really grew up on that J.Dilla or Alchemist type ****... Dudes just never did it for me. I appreciate em tho.

Pharrell will always have a place in my soul for Slim Thug and the Clipse' 1st 2 albums. J Cole still seems to produce better beats for other people than himself, and still hasn't made a beat better than Hiiipowered.
