I'd think somone who weighs 200 lbs. wouldn't need more than 80 grams of protein daily. This example is hypothetical for the fact of not having to usea protein shake. Through 6 meals you could easiliy acheieve max intakes of protein without the shake. Whey will bring those calories up to your desired intakethough, but protein is mererly for protein ONLY.
