This makes the Magic a better offensive team, but it kills them defensively and they have no presence inside now aside from Dwight Howard and when Bass comes off the bench. Going to be very tough for them to stop teams, I see a lot of shootouts and high scoring games out of them for the rest of the year.
But the biggest key especially if the Gil deal goes through is if the team can gel

Honestly this is a weak trade for all teams except the Suns. It does nothing for the Magic but make them smaller and less capable on the defensive end.... With Pietrius and Gortat gone they have no great perimeter or interior defenders besides Howard.
They'll definitely fill up the seats though.

The only decent player with any size is Bass....Clark is a project, Andersen is a shooter....and Malik Allen is Malik Allen
I'm not sure this helps them get past Boston when the game slows down in the playoffs
