Thanks but I've seen 1tb priced at 47 and 50 that I missed out on and a 2 tb for 65 hoping they drop back down there before I decide to bite.

I understand getting the best deal, but the hdds that are usually priced that low are not reliable.
The hdd I posted has has a good rating on amazon. With these discounted hdds you're taking a gamble. Which I wouldn't advise that you do if you NEED and hdd. Now if you just want a cheap hdd so you can store some stuff, then quality isn't that important.

If you need a reliable hdd, consider the quality of the hdd before you cop.
Cheaper hdds doesn't always equate to a better deal.
Personally, I'd never cop a hdd on Black Friday. That's just me.

I'm looking to get a external hd and was planning on getting one during bf. Wasn't aware of the ones that are good vs poor when it comes to quality. What brands would you recommend looking into as far as quality goes?

what happened with 3DTV? i told all my friends who were hyped about it that it would die in a year, look what happened. i havent heard anything about it since last year. They dont push it anymore. They made so much noise about it, 3D channels, etc ete... garbage

4K isn't a gimmick. its like improving from 720p to 1080p.

I personally think 4k isn't worth the price right now since not much support it right now

Sony has confirmed that the PS4 will support 4K films and photos, and Microsoft has said that the Xbox One will too. They may even support lighter 2D games in 4K further down the line.
