I need to vent for a moment. Black people love complainingabout what the white man is doing to us and he is holding us back. In no way am I trying to diminish or make light of black people that have been victims ofracism and discrimination but come on black people, what are we doing?
The most powerful man in the world looks like me and you andwe still out here doing dumb stuff. How do we have Obama in the white house and we uploading hood fights on youtube? Are you serious? Not only are we uploadinghood fights on youtube we got our pre-teen kids shaking their butts to she got a donk. What's worse than that is that they mommas and aunts are cheeringthem on while they dance.
And BET, that's not Black Entertainment Television,it's buffoonery, it's shucking and jiving for a few dollars or for 15 min of fame. Hell Date, Hot Ghetto Mess, why would a network that "caresabout black people" even consider airing such nonsense.
If those shows were aired on Fox News, we all would cryracism and to boycott the network but why do we give BET a pass. I know Viacom owns BET now but damn.
Black folks, when are we going to stand up and stop lettingthese N's embarrass us? This is not the black America I know.

NT is on a racial roll tonite.....We do need to smarten up...but we have to look at the root of theproblem....and it starts at home...I've seen bad kids, then I see their parents....and then I realize why these kids are the way they were....it's acatch 22...where do we start? Is there anything more annoying then Johnny Come Lately moral motormouths? Progress does not happen over night. We get a Black president and all of a suddenyou think all our ills should be cured? Instead of complaining about all the little things that embarrass our people why don't you bring some positivereinforcement to the table. We all know BET sucks; we all know sometimes some of our brothers and sisters display unbridled amounts of ignorance; we all knowwe need to do better. So instead of complaining and airing dirty laundry out for the masses how about people start doing. I can't think of one occasionwhere I came on here and someone started a thread about what they're doing to make things better, only threads complaining about the way things are.
