That ending!

I need to watch this episode again, I caught it out of order because of the game last night.

Looks like these final four episodes are going to be on point.

Sigrid is out here showin' Van Alden how to do this... :lol

:eek :eek @ Van Alden spazzing like that, though. Put the permanent press on dudes face... I lol'd the way he was crying...

Their relationship has become one of my favs of the show...

Nuck tapped into the spirit of The Commodore with the old man strength, son literally pounced on that fool.

I keep forgetting that Nuck can throw hands despite his age... :hat He let Eli have the fade last season...

:lol @ that Mellon cat sonning Nuck like that... But Nuck always has a plan up his sleeves... Crazy how he maneuvered around those indictments... Now seeing if he can hold up his end by running that distillery in the midst of this upcoming 'war' will be something to see...

Call me a simp, but I was starting to like Billie Kent :o .

I'm not even goina lie, I was too... I think it was that acting/improv scene that did it for me. Add that to her enjoyable youthfulness... I can finally see why Nuck was simping... 8o

Giuseppe Rosetti has returned... :hat :hat

I knew Billie was gon die they way they kept showin her in that last scene, though I was expectin to see a yoppa meet the side of her dome. Capone is def bout to be the big dog and O'banion will have some problems; once the dog is given his own leash, be weary.

Nucky has to know that Owen is smashin his wife. Though w/ Billie out of the picture, wonder how he will act now.

Interested to see what Rothstein has up his sleeve after this as well. I don't see Gyp survivin this season, him and Gillian gon catch the fade sooner or later

That relationship is exactly what Nucky really wants. Thought he had it with Marge :{

If Gillian and Gyp hook up it'll be similar as well.

and I seem to catch this show at 2am, so pardon my short attention span, but can someone explain the characters and deal involved when Nucky snitches on Remus?

thanks in advance.
Nuck & Remus kicks up to Harry Daugherty through the fatty Jess Smith.
Not enough convictions, so they need a patsy.
They can't convict Remus because it'll take down Jess Smith then connect to Daugherty.
Nucky is now chosen.
Nucky circumvents all that by going to Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon to take all three down in exchange for running Mellon's distillery.
Nucky is out of the hole.

k, but why would he goto the Treasury Secretary.- when did we find out that he was crooked and would not only allow it, but was in on the "game" as well?

Bruh, swear I was expecting the same image as the burner creeping to her dome from inside the theater...def wasnt expecting that...

I am trying to figure out how those dudes, in 1923, in less than a day, loaded an entire restaurant with enough explosives to blow up the whole building THAT fast, with noone noticing a thing...

I was thinking the same thing. Remember Owen got busy with some explosives last season so maybe it's possible.

Van Alden going King Kong on his co-workers :rollin straight up shook ones. They were talking all that ish a minute ago then he caught a steam Iron to the face

Van Alden's wife is an OG. :smokin

Knucky spazzing out with his ol' capt save a garden tool self.

Gyp Rosetti is bout to cause a mess, best villian ever.

I liked Billie, alot.

Not that sad to see her go, it would certainly bring Nucky back to the business. He won't be distracted and he's going to want revenge for her death... two great things for his story and the show overall. It was interesting to notice when Nucky was beating up that guy, he called him an interloper.. the same thing the Treasury Secretary called Nucky. Definitely a small moment of Nucky's insecurity showing.

I think we might have a consensus favorite wife on TV with Nelson's wife. Not only does she support her husband, she's clever and willing to get her hands a little dirty. She's a down for her man. I LOVED Nelson spazzing out and it was about damn time. This was a guy who drowned another man in front of a group of people, he's insane.

Next season should be a big one for Capone, I can't wait.

I could see Harrow and Gyp working together. Though, Harrow did bury the hatchet with Nucky already... and I dont see him going back on his word. Maybe he'll work as some double-agent type character? Get Gyp's trust, catch him with some buckshot to the dome as well?

any reason why she kept calling him GUS?
I'm confused at this also. Is it because she doesn't know who he is really is/that's the name he told her? Remember, she's not from NJ.
Billie Kent's answer:

Also, Billie knew damn well who he was...she went to his crib to perform in front of his family.

She even heard his name right before she blew up when fatty called Nuck out.

C'mon bk, you jobbing right now.

VAN ALDEN!!!!! :smokin I knew he was gonna snap and go postal. Brought that iron to his face :lol
Van Alden's wife though. This wise *** street smart sneak trick. It's crazy to me how she's probably gonna be the one to drive him in to a full fledged life of crime and probably top gangster in the Chi rivaling Capone. I mean it's clearly only a matter of time before he kills this flower shop dude he's working for, especially if he keeps disrespecting him.

That "flower shop dude" is Dean Obanion. Leader and founder of Chicagos North side gang. He is the who is gonna end up going to war against Capone. I like Van Alden but he aint doing **** to Obanion

During an official senatorial committee probing corruption in the Justice Department in regards to Prohibition, Edge tells Mellon that the committee is simply trying to get a handle on how the Department of the Treasury[Mellon] is being undermined by the Department of Justice[Daugherty].

Andrew Mellon ultimately says that Attorney General Harry Daugherty runs a corrupt department.

He's the head of the Treasury Department, in charge of enforcing prohibition and collecting the income tax. He doesn't like either task, and he hates Harry Daugherty.

Among Mellon's personal holdings is the old Overholt Distillery.

It's not that Mellon is dirty per se, it's just that he owns a distillery that does not produce any profit.

Gaston Means does utter the words, "It's amazing how small irritations loom in the minds of great men.", which is to say, Mellon's small irritation is his stagnant distillery.

That's why he takes Nuck's deal so he doesn't have to worry about the distillery anymore.

Gloomy Gus is about to be Gangster Gus :hat .
