Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

To all in this thread who didn't get this:

Walt knew the cops were there and listening.  He saw Flynn call them.  That's why he broke his phone after.

By going full Heisenberg he was absorbing all the blame and absolving his family, including Marie of any implication.  Skyler got that.  The police just heard him give a full confession to everything including Hank's murder.  He also said for them all to hear that Skyler knew nothing about what had happened, drug dealing included.

It was his final gift to them before disappearing.

Glad to see someone else understands what Walt was doing there. Great episode....this show has easily moved into the #2 spot behind The Wire as greatest TV dramas of all time for me.

Walt JR is definitely a ho. You don't pick sides like that with your parents or turn the ***** who's ball sack you came from like that, the audacity. Walt never hurt Skylar physically the ***** attacked him, you see this and you call the cops on him? Clown shoes

Walt's old pants made an appearance.

i love this show

"You're ******* me right?...If all this is true, and you knew about it, then, then you're as bad as him"

loved rj's acting in this ep but hes gotta die now...& they can sprinkle bacon pieces over him after

I root for Walt as much as any one, but if you don't understand why Skylar and Jr. did what they did you're basically Todd.

im todd then

both those $%^&8 need to die

WHO DESTROYS HIS HOME???
random people? It would seem everyone knows about his doings, his neighbor carol scared to death at the sight of him.  His fam def had to move out for federal investigations.  That house is abandoned, im surprised there were squatters in there when Walt came for the ricin.

WOW, what a dope episode from start to finish. I'm just a little disappointed about the shootout. I'm sure they filmed Gomez getting blasted and Hank getting wounded but for time sake had to edit it out. People talking about Todd being dumb, he knew what he was doing saving Jesse. I just want to know if his Uncle and the rest of them know he doesn't kill Jesse? Part of me thinks he wants to prove something to Lydia more than being a kingpin. **** they have $70 mill on deck. They can't handle all that money, let alone king pin status. HOw they going to launder it? I wonder if they thought about that?

Also everyone is saying Walt comes back because he sees his blue pop up on the streets. I thought the deal with Lydia was to exclusively sell to the European connects? If that is true then how would it end up on the US soil? Maybe I'm wrong on that, if so I'm sure you guys will let me know.

If that is the case and Walt sees his blue popping up then Walt knows for sure Jesse is still alive, and to add insult to injury Uncle Jack didn't keep his word and kill Jesse like they agreed. At this point Walt's anger is fueled by the betrayal of both parties and a bruised ego, because at the end of the day that blue is his legacy. Thats what I think.

:lol Uncle Jack don't give a damn bout no deals bruh.

My prediction

Walt finds out jesse is cooking for the Aryans but doesnt care. Walt is lured out of hiding because the Aryans are threatening his family. The M60 is to kill all the Aryans. Walt discovers jesse chained up in the lab or the little prison and out of pity walt tosses jesse the ricin so he could kill himself. Todd and walt have a final stand and todd kills walt and becomes the next King pin

no way if jesse would want to kill himself he could do so easily by breathing in a toxic reaction etc he learned somethings from WW that he could do turn burn that place to the ground with him in it, if he wanted to

Man.....when Hank laid there and told Walt he is the smartest person he knows.....the sincerity.....what was left of their relationship...

....the emotions.....:{ :{ :{ :(

This. I felt like this was largely overlooked, mostly because everyone hated Hank. But this was probably my favorite part of the episode.

After reading some of these comments and how people would have changed things and how they want the show to end all I can say is

Im REALLY glad Vince is in charge of these decisions and you guys arent

Its like some of you want see this story play out like just every corny 80s action movie; where the main character kills everyone and walks away emotionless and unscathed

This tweet still has me in shambles:

Walt Jr been hobbling his weird *** around for 5 seasons. Knife come out and he moving like he fumbled on 4th and 1

The most feels I had last night. When he's holdin his little girl, knowin he was going to give her back. :( How do you let go? When do you let go? How long do you hold her agonizing over that? :{ Bruh.....

You guys that keep saying Walt did all this for his family are just as deluded as he is lol. Walt did it for Heisenberg. That's it. Working for his family is the lie Walt told himself to justify everything. This was all about his ego and greed. He said he'd stop after he got $700k, kept going. Could've found a way to get out after his cancer went into remission, didn't. Could've let Hank keep thinking Gale was Heisenberg, ego wouldn't allow it. Hell if he was worried about providing for his family, he could have taken that high paying, token gig with Grey Matter. If he were truly "sacrificing" for their collective future after his demise, he'd have sacrificed his pride.

As for Jesse, you guys act like he got pinched and decided to snitch on Walt to save himself. He didn't cut a deal with Hank, he snitched solely because wanted to see WW go down and seemed prepared to deal with the consequences. I honestly don't blame him. WW ruined his life. Repeatedly. I won't disagree that Jesse's self-destructive nature didn't help things, but every time he had the opportunity to go down the morally "right" road, WW manipulated him or the things around him to get JP to go along with whatever he had going on. They have some sort of dysfunctional loyalty towards one another (until recently at least) but JP is more of a battered wife than Skyler is (psychologically, of course).

If Walt's going to be killed it only makes sense for it to be Jesse at this point. Nobody else "deserves" to. Hank's gone and he's "protected" Skyler and the kids. Marie maybe but I'm sure Gilligan knows EVERYBODY would hate that.

I feel that Walt has come to the realization that his family is now GONE. He's gonna come back and fight for all that he has left...his EMPIRE.
