why do we interrogate a husband when his wife is killed immediately after?

why do we detain suspects and make them gives statements immediately...

why do we interview people at the scene of a crime immediately..


but... cops have time to put out a report.


its like... we question when a regular citizen kills another citizen...

but we cant question when a cop does it?

I think you gotta go last resort with someone brandishing an ak.

I would think the same thing but some things aren't adding up. They said they fear for their lives but they got out to confront before calling for backup.

I feel like there are still so many key details left out, that's why I'm skeptical about the whole thing.
