What are these all about? i figure it might be a cheap way to lower my whip!

You would be an idiot to use these. The car will ride like doodoo and the struts will probably blow prematurely.

If you can't afford to get proper coilovers or at least lowering springs with aftermarket shocks, you shouldn't be modding your car at all.

Look into adjustable coilovers, you can adjust the height setting and ride stiffness to your likings. They're affordable too!
