Both Moncler and Canada Goose have indeed been bastardized by the exact demographic you described. Because of that wearing those brands is corny/tacky.
Now...The North Face has obviously been worn and has been popular with EVERY demographic out there. But...vintage TNF will forever be fresh and hood certified. TNF is timeless. There's similar pockets/posses/circles of vintage TNF wearers....like Lo Lifes are to Polo.
That CG clark got on is heat. Canada Goose is def fly depending on the model you get
"Snobbery"From what I've seen personally where I reside on the East Coast, Canada Goose mostly screams upper middle class pretentiousness/snobbery and not hoodrich fly ****. At least where I live. It might be changing though. What makes Canada Goose tacky is that folks that wear it think it's the freshest **** ever . Type of people that would stare at the Polo branding on your snorkel or bubble coat while they wearing their Canada Douche jacket. Like, bish, I got a Ralph Lauren Purple Label leather that cost more than 3 times as much as your Canada Goose that I didn't pay anywhere near $3K or even $1K for. And it don't got a big *** patch on the outside telling everyone it's Purple Label or that it costs several stacks, the quality just speaks for itself. You couldn't tell a Canada Goose from a North Face McMurdo if it weren't for the patch on the sleeve most the time.
"Snobbery"
^ That dude is one comical guy. For all I know he's probably wearing some JNCO jeans and thinking he's fly.
Happy to live out in the NoVa suburbs I stay far away from the hood parts of DC. Only time I want to be in DC is catching a Wizards game, taking my daughters to a museum, or going out to eat. If that makes me corny or a bama cool.Bruh, you from the DMV, the snob capital of America. Only people from the suburbs use to term "DMV" because everybody actually from DC says they ain't from the DMV. MoCo and NoVa is as suburban and corny as it gets. Department of Motor Vehicles. Even people in the hood in DC are snobby. Like you can be from Paris and still get called a bama. People from the hood in DC/PG act like someone named DeMontrel from Barry Farms SE DC designed the Nike Foamposite One and Nike Boot in 1997.
Dont get me wrong, i appreciate the old school pics but damn how often we going down memory lane?
