I'm officially done being a Raiders fan. For those who say, "Well, then you're just not a real fan." I've given them 27 years of loyalty (and money). I chose them. Today they showed me that that all means absolutely nothing.
To boot, I moved to the LA area from the Bay Area. Vegas is actually several hours closer to me. But it's not about that. It's about where they belong. They belong in Oakland. Even when they were in LA, they belonged in Oakland. There's nothing else in the league like the camaraderie of 65,000 OAKLAND fans on game day. They never had that atmosphere in LA. They definitely won't get it in Vegas.
I actually went through this once before in my lifetime. I was born in Baltimore and went through the Colts leaving like cowards in the middle of the night, which SUCKED, but I wasn't invested in them like I have been all these years with the Raiders. I stuck with the Raiders through over a decade of hope that ultimately turned to losing. And more losing. Then, there's one winning season in 14 years, and 3 months later the team I've supported for over 65% of my life is ripped away. They've been part of the fabric of most of my life, and all I can say is this hurts a lot more than I thought it would. And that's [emoji]128175[/emoji]. They might temporarily be in Oakland, but they're already gone. Today is the death of an era.
I blame Roger Goodell and his all-greed league and his talking out both sides of his face. I blame the 30 other spoiled billionaire owners who voted yes with no regard for the Oakland fan base. I blame Libby Schaaf, Jean Quan, and the Oakland city council for doing jack ish for YEARS and letting it even get to this point. Most of all, I blame Mark "Friar Tuck" Davis. If a person could talk out of 4 sides of their face, this would be the mofo to do it. Some men achieve greatness. MD got it handed to him as a graduation present. Eff 'em all.
So since I already paid for my season tickets, I'm going to keep them for 2 reasons. 1) So I can root against the Raiders, or should I say the Las Vegas Traitors, in 2017. I'm even going to wear my Ravens jerseys to my seats in The Black Hole. Let some little a-hole step to me and see what happens, I just DGAF. 2) I'm going to sell tickets for a few games and scalp the hell out of them. 400% markup. Take it or leave it. I'm sure there's a few Traitor fans out there who will take it.

No son. I was trying to explain to you that it was common knowledge that the Raiders and Mark Davis had every intention of relocating to Las Vegas.
I was also trying to explain to you that the only deciding factor would be today's vote at the annual owners meeting.
I didn't say that the Raiders were not moving to Vegas.

Funniest part is I didn't even want the Raiders to move, I thought have two teams in the bay was the bees knees, but I came here to tell ya'll I thought it was fin to happen when they applied for relocation over a month in advance and here we are today.
