College niketalkers chime in....how do you concentrate on your work without being distracted?

I hate to say this, but its the truth. I usually wait until the last minute. I somehow seem to perform in the clutch. I guess the best thing to say is you know what you have to do, just get it done. 2 weeks early or 2 minutes before class, just get it done.

adderall aka the academic steroid, ive seen kids improve grades dramatically, my sis had friends at Rutgers takin it took just bangin out good grades, 
um, you gotta drink water and it screws with ppls diets though, can cause sleep problems too.

Dubstep, classical and technical death metal are all I listen to when I study.....its like a drug.

OP some ppl like anton are just those kinda ppl who can focus, everyone is different, i mean look the dude is on NT all day but is a future doctor with good grades.

some ppl like me cant do that, if youre scared of adderall or cant get prescribed an i dont think im allowed to tell you how to obtain on here, look into nootropics, i use to be on a nootropics message board an ppl come up with their own combos.

Another thing that I wanna stress is ORGANIZATION, plan out all your work the day that it's assigned. If you have a essay due in 2-3 weeks write a paragraph/page a day, it takes off pressure and you'll be done faster than you think. Break down every assignment and think about how much time you'll need for each one then apply it to your daily schedule. Too many ppl wait till the week that an assignment is due before they start then they panic. This is all the advice I have to give and I hope it helps.
