After all the money I'd already given her as well as a place to live. No honesty and no respect.
Rather than tackling why that is the case, it sounds like you tried to bruteforce your way into changing that by paying for an escort. Hypothetically, let's say that an escort did give you the complete full package. Ask yourself: then what? Nothing changed, besides paying someone.
Instead, I think you should ask yourself what exactly is stopping you from changing that the natural way. You can go to the gym, maybe spend a little extra effort on things like skincare products, ...
There's a lot of simple things anyone can do to maximize how good they can look, and you seem to have the money for a gym membership etc.
If the main issue is social anxiety or something of that nature, that's harder to deal with but remember that plenty of people, women included, have social issues.
Either way I think you could certainly benefit from seeing a psychologist to discuss this situation, why it happened and what you can do to avoid future situations like this.
There's nothing weird about seeing a psychologist in any circumstance, I don't think there's any circumstance where going to a psychologist isn't useful.

I've been wanting to move back for a while to be honest. This just expedited it. This state ****ing sucks ***. Moved here last year because of my sister and my dog. Wanted to own a house with a yard for him. He's gone now so it doesn't matter if I have to get a condo in Vegas.

My thought process was to get some experience with everything physically before trying to date for real. That way I don't have to go into a date with zero confidence in all physical matters.
