Smiley faces in ketchup on my burgers when he would take off from work to have lunch with me at school
Helped with homework, and invested his time and money into weekend tutors from first grade through highschool
Was there the first day of school every year from Kindergarten through college...even if I didn't see him there, he would just peek in the classroom.
Invested time and money into sports, music, overseas travel, and other activities for us.

Supermanblue, you're mad lucky to have a dad like that. (definitely jelly, in a good way)
I feel you (pause) though J, I hope to be a greater (and much better dad) than my dad ever was. With that said, gonna keep grinding, hopefully when I become successful and everything my kids will admire me just as much as you all do the same for your fathers.

When me and my sister were younger and the whole "slug bug" game was in, he once drove through a VW dealership so that my sister could get even with me

-The hardest worker I know. Worked in a coal mine until his early 30's, was laid off, and now makes over six figures working in a factory.
-Never too tired to throw baseball or football after a 12-hour day at work.
-Turned down a baseball scholarship to Pitt so he could take care of his younger siblings when his father died.
-Taught me everything I know not only about sports, but life in general. What I am most thankful for is the fact that he never took it easy on me. If he was fed up with my attitude/complaining, he would smack me and not think twice about it.
-When my friends and I were being bullied by older kids in our neighborhood, he taught me to fight instead of calling their parents to mediate.
-Between he and my mom, I had at least one, if not both parents at each and every game or school function in support.
-My pops isnt a very emotional guy, but looking up in the stands after making big plays during football games and seeing him beaming with pride sends chills down my spine.
-Can make or fix ANYTHING, which I believe is lost in our generation.

Being away at college and not traveling home often makes me appreciate all the things they do for me. My main objective is learning the quickest way to earn a dollar through textbooks, whereas the permanent dirt under my father's finger nails symbolizes the hard work and sacrifices he has made to ensure we had whatever we NEEDED, and then some. I'm blessed to have such loving and caring parents.

My dad grew up in Korea and said he pretty much spent his entire childhood outdoors.
Went camping with his friends for days in nearby mountains and forests.

Stole watermelon and chicken from neighbors.

Traveled by hopping and riding on top of trains.

Once in the military he refused to do any work on his birthday and said he got the biggest +!#-whooping of his life

-My dad took me all around the world and the country for vacations and for me to see the world(he works for united airlines)
-Has bailed me out of numerous situations, and did it with a smile
-He was always my biggest cheerleader in school and sports all the way thru college
-He has a degree psychology for University of Toledo, and put him self through college while working at United the whole time.
-My dad was the original person who showed me how to party(I didnt know that crown royal and miller lite could be so good if consumed right)
-My dad and I have gone to many bars together since I was 18 and have done it up

-The biggest thing he has done has been my best friend throughout my life, but he really has been my support system since my mom died in November(His mom died in March of last year). He has a big heart and can handle more then the average man.

At Disney World, we were on Roller Coaster, my hat flew off and he whipped his arm back and caught it

To me, Superman gave up his identity at that moment.
