I'm sorry but this is exactly what this thread is asking people to debunk.

Telegraph and the UC are not the end all be all of Berkeley. The neighborhood B grew up in Most Berkeley neighborhoods are pretty far removed from being full of hippies.

Vallejo, a city of well over 100,000, witnessed 18 homicides in 2011. There are 56 weeks in a year... Fairfield? I've always felt dudes out there on the other side of the hill act up simply because there isn't %*@% to do, I'd be very surprised if Fairfield saw double digit homicides this past year.

Hard to defend Oakland on the murder front after a rough 2011 but it's not like we out here everyday fearing for our lives. I can classify any major city as being a dangerous place to live. I wont lie I avoid Richmond but that's only because I don't have people out there.

The bold sound like perpetuated stereotypes to me.

yup theres where i live.. Theres a bunch of different parts of boston and each are unique..parts of roslindale, hyde park are not that good, dorchester/mattapan etc arent. but then you can go to jamaica plain and west roxbury and be fine. you could go to allston/brighton or maybe even brookline/newton  i wouldnt @%+$ around with charlestown though

when youre talking about boston..make sure youre actually talking about boston lol. look up the towns actually part of boston. Id vote for JP, west roxbury, allston or brighton.  People say they live in boston but really live in newton, lowell, chelsea etc

I'm from Fairfield, couldn't tell you homicide numbers off the top of my head but we got a ton of !*%! heads out here that do dumb !*%!.

I feel much safer walking around in richmond than in oakland.  I have a buddy that stays on 73rd and Mac, and even when I walk like 2 blocks up to the corner store I'm paranoid as hell.

I worked at a department store at a mall for a few years and adjacent to one of our interior entrances was a storefront that seemed to have a high turn around (businesses always failing and being replaced). I get off work and she's gone so I thought nothing of it. A couple weeks later I'm making my usual midnight rounds over the internet and who do I see on the first page of a very popular adult site? That bad ##% broad herself taking a johnson to the pooper, turns out after I left they shot the intro to the scene right there.

So yes, while everyone down here is not involved in porn. A good amount, of people are.
