What's the date for the SJs?

That may be the only shoe I pick up all year.

Anyone want to cop my OG blk/red XIs? You'll then have a real comparison of quality/build.

When ya'll see Paul and Acid, please send them to the Mock draft thread for their picks.

That offer will only be available for a little while longer as people are buying up those sections. Get @ me if this was something ya'll still wanted.

First pre-season game next Sunday, I know you guys are ready. Im so hyped, all the youngins reported to camp early and are puttin in work, Im optimistic this season and hopefully yall are too

Thanks for your time,

======================
Just a quick rough draft, but I'd write something like that, even if you didn't have any interviews/offers.
In my highest opinion, I wouldn't suggest you write that.

It doesn't seem like you want to work for them and that their job offer may not be your first choice.

Acid you ever had a job in your life? You don't tell your potential employer that they are expendable.

Paul isn't an NBA player, he needs to convince them that they should hire him, not the other way around.
laugh.gif

If a candidate sent me that, I'd basically not hire them.

It's not like I don't have a pile of potential people, who are you to ask what your status is. We'll get to it, when we get to it.

If you have an OFFER from another place and you really want to work at the place you haven't heard from, you can ask the expected time line. We're notignorant to think you're not attempting to get hired at other places.

Whew, good thing I didn't listen to acid.

I keep on hearing that a the follow up e-mail should be sent, though.

What if the employer told you that they'd make their decision on who they were to hire by "mid September" and now it's September 24?Wouldn't you, as an employer, at least expect some curiosity from those who applied for the position?

I suppose, but at the same time it obviously depends on how it's worded.

Also, think of volume. Let's use an extreme example, say there's 10 slots open and 200 candidates. Do you think an employer is going to alert 190 ofthem they're not getting the job, next interview, whatever?

I'd give it a week, meaning till Oct 1 and if you hear nothing obviously move on.

I'll ask our head recruiter what a polite way of inquiry is, if you'd like?

Great news everyone.

My brother has received a call from St. Lukes to let him know that he has been accepted for a job. He's busy right now letting his friends and oldclassmates know about it, so I'm delivering this message.

As his brother, I'm happy for him that he's finally employed and that he'll spend lesser time on NT posting in his favorite thread.

Congrats to Paul.

I love this thread!

P.S. What up, go apply at St. Luke's. It'd be hella funny.

Thanks buckwheat. It's been said that the health care field has been a field that recoversquickly. I hope that this is a step in the right direction so it won't be hard for anybody else to try to find jobs.

Nice going, Paul!

(Does St. Luke's have a lot of hot nurses running around?)
