Still remember last year at Candlestick...I was having a cigarette on one of the ramps and not even 10 feet from me was some drunken fan, passed out laying on the ground face-first without his shirt on......:smh:

Now, I've had season tickets for 12 years (SECTION 18 WHAT UP!!!) and for the last 2 years or so, they've implemented this NO SMOKING anywhere rule and I think its a joke.

So about 2min after I light up my smoke, one of the ushers (swear this dude was like the Top Flight Usher of the World...dude LOVES his job...lol...) comes up to me and tells me to put out my cigg or ill be escorted out. :smh:

Smoking tobacco is not illegal. They should at the very least have a designated area, because believe me I try to be as courteous as possible and not blow smoke all in peoples face, I get it. But still man....

Anyways, so this usher is telling me if I don't put it out, they'll kick me out and they're going to take down my seat number off my ticket and if i'm caught again, ill be banned....lmao...

I'm like....DO YOU NOT SEE THIS DUDE PASSED THE F OUT RIGHT OVER THERE, FACE-FIRST LAYING ON THE GROUND? :smh:

Didn't give a damn about that guy...like that was going to be too much trouble/work for him and it'll be easier to just come tell me to put out my cigg....

Anyways, I still smoke at the games...just wanted to vent...

Go Niners!!!

Nice win yesterday. Winning on all three phases again.

The good
VD & Gore :smokin
Eric Reid has arrived :smokin
Only 4 flags yesterday :D
18 play drive that lead to a TD
Won the turnover battle AGAIN :smokin thats how you win games

The Bad
The secondary (not bad but not great) still a work in progress
The Redzone offense (two too many FG's were kicked yesterday
3rd down play 29% doesn't win come the playoffs
If your a receiver not named Boldin or VD you just simply not doing a good enough job.
I hope Dorsey is okay :\

The ugly

The Wave doesn't belong at any NFL stadium period end of story. LET ALONE doing it when someone is being carted off on a gurney simply disgusting :smh:

Rip
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9...san-francisco-49ers-stadium-construction-site

Season as a whole so far

4-2 not bad but it's no a great 4-2.

We had look helpless at times against good Qb's (Wilson and Luck) and just "okay" to above average against bad Qb's.
The more games this secondary plays together the better I think they will be.

Offense and play calling/CK

You don't buy a Corvette to go 65 MPH Stop babying CK unleash the beast :smh: I'm sick and tired of hearing what if he gets hurt. What happens if Drew Brees, Aaron Rodger or Tom Brady get hurt them what there season would be DONE just like ours. Trust him to get down/get out of bounds when needed. Use a clear asset and maximize his talent. Show the world the read option!

Good to great play calling requires good to great offensive weapons and we simply lack those esp on the outside. if your name isn't Boldin you clearly aren't striking fear into any defense. That being said once Mario and Crabs come back I think the passing attack will open up it may take 2 or 3 games after they each come back hopefully thats not too late.

Bruce Miller should not be lining up as a WR EVER :smh:
Anthony Dixon (THE SLOWEST RUNNING BACK WE HAVE should not be catching passes out of the backfield)

Oh and I'll just leave this stat here

Rushing Td's

CK-0
Peyton Manning- 1
Rant over.

Yea thats why i get my tickets in the LB with all the old season ticket holders.
The only place where you wont find old school season ticket holders is in the upper deck behind the endzones.....and whats weird is, it seems like stuff pops off in the upper deck behind the north endzone more than anywhere else.  Thats where the damn wave started on Sunday, and thats where most fights happen.  Its been that way for decades.

discussing the the whole receiving situation..

if you move the entire receiving group to the patriots/packers/saints with their QBs and OCs what do you guys think will happen? Do you think their productivity will be similar to the current situation? Do people really think every year these teams are just loaded with the best weapons season after season? Come on. Good QBs make average receivers look great.

Kap has a habit of picking favorites and only targetting his favorites. 95% of the targets yesterday were Anquan and Vernon even tho even tho we saw plays where Jonathan Baldwin was running around open or 1 on 1 with a DB. We saw this last year when he only looked for Crabs. Good QBs not only exploit defenses, but they throw their wide receivers open and give their players a chance to play. These guys are PROFESSIONALS and they're all weapons. It's the freaken NFL. Did you guys see Austin Collie with the Pats yesterday making clutch catches against the Saints? This guy was cut here and if he was still here he would have zero catches. We have 2 big receiving targets in Vance and Jonathan Baldwin yet I have yet to see them given a chance to use their size to make a play. There was a pass against the Texans where Kap gave Jonathan Baldwin a chance on a jump ball down the side line, dude went up and snatched it out of the air but landed out of bounds. This was good and we need more.

I believe in Kaep because I saw exactly what im speaking of last year when he played vs the bear. He came in and spread the ball around. He would go through multiple reads, throw his receivers open and give them a chance to make plays. Greg Roman is also part of the problem but i'm too lazy to get into that because it's way too much going on(identity crisis, bad play calling, bad play design, etc.)

Agreed, I think NFL stadiums in general always have a bunch of alcoholics only looking to start trouble. That's why I shy away from Candlestick and prefer to watch it at home or at a sports bar instead.
I don't feel that way about Warriors, Sharks, or Cal football games. I think it's just the fact the NFL is so popular and naturally the lowlifes are gonna come out.

Nfl fans remind me of European soccer fans when it comes to passion

It's cult like for these teams...you don't really see that with other major sports in this country

Repped man you know football an I couldn't have said it any better.

As far as the receivers go Baldwin needs to get a chance.

this is that baldwin catch on a fade route i posted about. i know quality is poor, but you get a idea of what im talking about. you need to give these guys a chance to make a play.

Bro Kyle Williams has been on this team for 4 years now and has never been more than a special teamer. Huge difference between him and Baldwin.

Baldwin is a former 1st rounder with talent that warranted him going as early as he did. Baldwin also hasn't had offseasons to get assimilated to the Offense and most importantly build a rapport with his QB. As far as I'm concerned Kyle Williams has gotten more than enough of an opportunity to prove he can be more than just a special teamer. Before Crabtree comes back Baldwin will have a statline that has him with 6 Rec for 85 yards I'm convinced.

Kyle Williams and Marlon Moore are temporarily holding spots for Manningham and Crabtree. Both will be gone in a couple weeks.

Anquan Boldin
Michael Crabtree
Mario Manningham
Quinton Patton
Jonathan Baldwin
Vernon Davis
Vance MacDonald

I see a lot of talent there. There's no excuses.

Kyle Williams isn't staying for special teams? Or is LMJ doing kickoff & punt return?

Makes sense of the 9ers saying that "LMJ is in their future plans", he will take full time kickoff/punting duties...

So I can see them actually cutting Kyle

Harbaugh should Atleast use LMJ for punt/kickoff returns, he already proved hes a weapon in that aspect.

And speaking of special teams, CJ Spillman has been balling. Hes become the squads best special teamer :smokin

Still dont understand why Anthony Dixon is on the team. He's big but cant even get the tough short yardage, gets happy feet literally every time he touches the rock, and gets no yardage after contact. Hes not effective as he was before on special teams either.

James is NOT a proven weapon in punt returns. We have never used him as a punt returner, and he was horrible in his very limited time returning punts in college. So how is he a proven weapon?

Kickoff Returns*

He came in late last season and did pretty well in that department. He didnt fumble the ball or botch a catch once like he was doing in the preseason when he was struggling.

IMO he should be returning punts as well. You're telling me you like having Kyle Williams returning punts? Forget that NFC championship game, this season alone he fair caught some very returnable punts with some good space to run.

my boy told me today that we'll be hanging out with joe cool himself one of these nights. john was at a autograph signing in virginia with joe, ronnie and jerry and he was catching up with joe and he invited him over to hang out, have some brews and eat some crab legs+steak. :D John loves UFC and we watch every single one so we'll probably all be tossing back some brews watching some UFC hanging with some 49er legends. :smokin

also gonna have some cool pics for you guys hopefully next week. something from the 80s very few people outside of a 49ers study room in have seen.

I hope Manningham doesnt have Derrick Rose syndrome, aka Pussitis.  I know yesterday was only his first day back, but the way he was talking about getting his confidence back and what not, just screamed Derrick Rose to me. We could really use him.  Even though he practiced yesterday, my hope is he is ready after the bye week.  I think even with our depleted WR corps, we can get by the next two games with a win.

no homo but i miss d-love. dude did so much of the dirty work but took a lot of heat when he had that string of drops. he presented another mismatch opposite of vernon that the defense had to game plan for. bruce miller is a solid FB, but he aint no freaken swiss army knife. dude looks like a bowling ball trying pick up speed when they send him on a wheel route. bruce miller isnt as effective in the wing formation as delanie was and its because he literally isnt a receiving threat. you could swing delanie over in a power run or flex him out wide with a LB/S on him whic he easily out played.

I hear ya and everything, but maybe when I hear or see the name Delanie Walker I instantly think of the Rams game on the road or the Patriots game from last year and automatically think of how unreliable Delanie was as a receiver to me. Personally, I was glad to see him go, other than hearing thew news about his aunt and uncle dying immediately after the Super Bowl.
